Moderators CJ Vogel Posted March 17 Author Moderators Posted March 17 UConn might be the most picked 8 seed to win an 8-9 game in history of the tournament Quote
Moderators CJ Vogel Posted March 18 Author Moderators Posted March 18 Gauging the chat, if I set up an ESPN Tournament Challenge for OTF OG's would that be something of interest? I can get it going in the next hour, if so. 2 Quote

Moderators CJ Vogel Posted March 18 Author Moderators Posted March 18 Hour and a half away from the first play-in game. Rocking with Alabama State and North Carolina tonight. Quote
Moderators Gerry Hamilton Posted March 18 Moderators Posted March 18 And UNC gets the worst offensive team in the field ... SDSU ... 70.9 ppg, 66% at FT line and woeful from three. Quote
Moderators CJ Vogel Posted March 19 Author Moderators Posted March 19 Oh my goodness what a game in the first play-in game. That was heartbreaking. That was unbelievable. Tremendous basketball. Quote
Moderators Jeff Howe Posted March 19 Moderators Posted March 19 Can't say I'm surprised with how UNC-SDSU has played out. Heels currently have a 33-point lead. This one has been over for a while. Quote
harveycmd Posted March 19 Posted March 19 It's market March madness. I wish goobers would stop obsessing over the Fed. Fed's doing its job. Very little to do with true market forces. Should raise the rate and squash any hint of inflation. Got nothing to do with Nvidia or the future of any market performance. Quote
harveycmd Posted March 19 Posted March 19 (edited) Treed four in three hours tonight. Wolf getting in shape. They running even though it's windy. Edited March 19 by harveycmd Quote
harveycmd Posted March 19 Posted March 19 When we played at Hugh Springs and Avinger in summer league, they played "Basketball" by Kurtis Blow in the warm ups, even though the song was dated by that time. You couldn't dunk in pre-game in a regular high school game because they'd give you a tech for it. Summer league you could whatever. Guys were doing everything they could when that song played in summer league. I'd dribble bounce it off the floor for a 3/4 alley-oop dunk when that song was playing. Made a couple of Hugh Springs boys upset for some reason, even though they were dunking themselves. Quote

bierce Posted March 20 Posted March 20 The only 1 seed to get a truly favorable location the first weekend is Duke, of course. It plays in Raleigh. Florida also has to play in Raleigh against Norfolk State, a school just 150 miles away. Not backyard for Norfolk State by any means, but far from friendly for Florida. Alabama gets a first round game in Cleveland against a team from a little over 100 miles away. But Cleveland hates all things Pittsburgh, so maybe Robert Morris from Moon Township won't get a bump. Moderators CJ Vogel Posted March 20 Author Moderators Posted March 20 Creighton missing some good looks early on. How old can you be before being called 'Chucky' becomes weird? Quote
bierce Posted March 20 Posted March 20 (edited) Smart timeout by Kelsey. Execution of play after the timeout? Not so good. Edited March 20 by bierce Quote
