Do we know who will be the program's General Manager, and any staff other than Adam Cohen as the likely Associate Head Coach...?

No official word on staff, but Miller said there will be several staffers following him from Xavier.

Was reported that Haith & Chappelle were also in attendance.

They were there. As Gerry said, those guys are doing their jobs until they’re told otherwise.

They are nuts … prices will come down

What did Kansas State get out of Hawkins? Didn’t even make the tournament. Kansas? Ridiculous.

From 247- “Dailyn Swain is not expected to follow Sean Miller from Xavier to Texas. The 6-foot-8, 220-pound wing could make real money playing basketball one day, but he has to ace the portal process and find the right fit. Ohio State continues to check off a ton of boxes. Swain is a Columbus, Ohio native, and there's a huge hole on the Buckeyes' roster for a wing after Micah Parrish's exit. Plus, Ohio State could have loads of shooting with Bruce Thornton and Juni Mobley to cover up some of Swain's shooting concerns”

Noted. I haven't heard of Miller going after him yet either ... so makes some sense.

Thing with all this stuff to consider ...

How much does a player want? The ask right now is just dumb by some guys.

And for Miller ... if he doesn't go after a player he knows very well, he very likely believes he can get someone better/different moving to the SEC.

It will be fun to follow

Do you think Texas is going to go after Magoon Gwath? Or is it to early for that?

He's originally from Euless Trinity High .. moved to Cali prep school for senior year.

Hard to say. Too early for me ...

Very good prospect IMO ... I'm a fan of his upside ... but there are levels of all of it too. I like his upside a lot. Do I like it if he or his agent were to ask for 2-3 mill? Probably not as much lol

Coach Millers job to get the best players. Getting harder to do with the ever growing BS money some want.

I was telling a friend earlier today ... Sean Miller is the first coach at Texas I don't worry about in talent eval. Doesn't mean you hit on 100% (nobody does), but he's the first coach I just completely trust to evaluate, put a roster together and develop.

Beard is a great coach, but I wasn't there in terms of talent eval. For instance, taking Devin Askew over Pelle Larson (Larson wanted to come, played at Utah with Timmy Allen). That one was too easy.

How do you feel about the keyonte George situation and how that played out ?

It was more Anthony Black for me.

I always give a coach credit for going after the player they covet most, but Texas wasn't getting Cason Wallace. And Beard passed on the possibility of him or Keyonte.

That was a tough class ... Arterio, Black, Wallace and George ... they all went to different schools.
