Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian is speaking with reporters for the second time this spring. 

Texas is wrapping up practice No. 7 currently and Sarkisian will head over shortly after the conclusion of the morning session for a quick word.

Sarkisian says all of the spring is for assessing where players are in their development and how the staff may need to address holes or voids on the roster. 

Sarkisian says he would be making a grave mistake on making judgement on any individual right now in spring in terms of whether or not Texas deploys them in the fall.

Steve Sarkisian says Texas is monitoring transfer DL Travis Shaw this spring. Shaw has had a lingering knee issue that the staff has been mindful of.

Sarkisian mentions Ryan Niblett is working at STAR. Adds Niblett will get looks in the return game, punt and kick.

Sarkisian says Trey Moore has been playing about three different positions so far this spring. 

Says the off ball usage and ability off the EDGE has allowed for identification issue for the offense already this spring. Adds there is so much versatility with Moore and the front seven because of how he can be used.
