Some of our guys are masters at that. That’s true. Two strikes gotta switch the approach up. But that was definitely a ball. Galvan brought the glove so far back over the plate but hey I’ll take it Quote

f1revo Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Really nice to have the series win and not rely on the Sunday game. Bats will need to liven up a good bit if we want to sweep! 4 Quote

ArizonaLonghorn Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Seems like a good time to post a link to this ESPN article titled "Jim Schlossnagle is at the center of the Texas-Texas A&M storm" And this is another reason why they hate us so badly - quote from the article when CDC snaked him away from A&M after a meeting at a nearby cemetery - By Tuesday, June 25, Schlossnagle was the new coach at Texas, and Del Conte regaled reporters with his tale of meeting the coach in a cemetery in Snook, Texas, about 12 miles outside of College Station, when the coach returned from Omaha. "I left at the crack of dawn, and I knew I could not be seen anywhere in College Station, so I went to the Snook Cemetery and waited for [Schlossnagle] to get back," Del Conte said. "The Snook Cemetery will go down in history." The timing was stunning. For the Longhorns, it was the ultimate power move. For the Aggies, it was the ultimate betrayal. 2 Quote
Jerry K Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago This season is one for the records. Shocking on a lot of levels but man it’s fun watching this team. 4 Quote

Texas goes for the sweep of the Aggies tomorrow. yeah...it turns out the Aggs are good, so these 2 wins are great for the program. Still a long way to go in the season, but we're on a heater. Both our strengths and weaknesses are on display. And that's a great position to be in. Quote

Realist Horn Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago We need Jason Flores to go deep today. Grubbs and Volantis may have a batter or two. Quote

That running play by Flores started out as a mistake but the aggy error on the 3rd baseman then a really heads up play by Flores to take home and score turned out to be huge. Mendoza turned it around big time today. Gumbo’s speed on the bases was also huge. I also gotta give credit to the fans. Y’all were awesome! Loved hearing how the fans drowned out the aggy ball five chant. Home field has definitely been an advantage in this series so far. 3 Quote
