Hornsfan01 Posted June 1 Posted June 1 Striking out looking. Perfect way to sum up this game. 1 Quote
Burntcowboy Posted June 1 Posted June 1 That’s freaking horrible. Someone needs to yell at Schloss before he yells at the team Quote
bourbasted Posted June 1 Posted June 1 That was embarrassing. Never seen that many runners stranded. Hope we get another shot at them. UTSA has our number. Quote

Moderators Jeff Howe Posted June 1 Author Moderators Posted June 1 Now you've gotta win three games in two days to keep the season alive. Not an ideal scenario. 1 Quote

horns96 Posted June 1 Posted June 1 Max admires two 3rd strikes, only one of which was called. Fitting end to this completely mismanaged game. 1 Quote
Burnt Orange Horn Posted June 1 Posted June 1 Man, Texas batters give up on the off speed stuff before it even gets to the plate. Most of their stances has their weigh too far forward, too. Quote

Moderators Blake Munroe Posted June 1 Moderators Posted June 1 Not the news anyone in here wants to hear, but (as they said on TV) 83% of teams who win that game go on to win the regional. Tough road ahead for Texas. 1 Quote

TDub10 Posted June 1 Posted June 1 This team isn’t built for this scenario. What a sad turn of events this game was. Quote
LonghornLegends Posted June 1 Posted June 1 I literally think the only good things from tonight were Galvan, volantis, borba, and Jonah. Defense was god awful, and don’t even get me started on Flores and gas with 2 on bases 0 outs and absolutely choked that s*** away. Deserved to lose with that pitiful performance. May have been top 3 worst baseball defensive performance I’ve ever seen. 1 Quote

Moderators Jeff Howe Posted June 1 Author Moderators Posted June 1 We’ll see what Schloss says about the pitching plan for tomorrow. It’s a rough outlook, to say the least. 1 Quote

f1revo Posted June 1 Posted June 1 Glad we burned all our best arms when we can't even field a ground ball. Super cool. We are toast. I expecting to get bounced in the Supers, not this damn early. Hopefully we recruit some kids with some better fundamentals. Base running was a complete joke like they never have done it before yesterday and now this disasterclass defensive performance. On top of lacking enough competitive at bats to be a real contender. Quote
