I wouldn’t think Flores would go very high in the draft. It is true though……that waiting until their senior year isn’t going to be much of a bonus at all.

FWIW, bonus ceiling for players taken in the 11th-20th rounds is $150K. Anything over that counts against a team's bonus pool for the first 10 rounds.

I’m pretty pumped to see that many names in the portal. Wish those players the best of luck. Looking forward to the next 2-3 weeks to see how things turn out.

Excellent. The only advantage of going out early is being able to hammer the transfer portal while other teams have to play. Lock these guys up before Ark, LSU and Tenn stop playing.

Interesting to me how baseball recruiting seems to move underground almost. Names are rarely reported, seems like a ton of kids commit the moment they step on campus for their first visit, just not a lot of information to go around. I always wonder how the coaching staffs have achieved this level of secrecy in baseball but not other sports.

First, thank you for your coverage of Texas baseball.  Love it.  It’s an area that traditionally is simply skipped & it boggles my mind. So, if you are ever in doubt, please know we always want more.
