It’s been reported Bishop is a CB first recruit. 
Lott is probably trending well, but it’s not over. 
Finley has been trending ND but we will see next weekend. 

Stewart is OVing to Tennessee currently. 
Brown is in the fold but he’s a slot type. 

Those are the only WRs that have/had visits set up. We will be fine at WR, and I’m not “worried”, but it doesn’t seem good enough to not even take a swing at Jabari Mack when he has an OV on the books. I think it makes sense that the staff was worried about him not having legitimate interest and the juice maybe not being worth the squeeze to bring him in.

Lott is Texas vs. Oregon imo, Texas leading so slightly going into the weekend.

OTF believes that Texas is a good spot for Finley.

Brown is very underrated imo.

What’s your read on the Stewart recruitment? Feel like he has been discounted for forever but he is still committed

Feels the exact same to Emaree Winston a year ago. Commit early and the entire cycle it feels like he could 1. be pushed out, or 2. look elsewhere. So far, that has yet to be the case. From what we have gathered, Stewart will remain in the class for the foreseeable future. 

The staff likes Stewart and wants him in the class.

Also, for all the Winston talk during his recruitment, he sure outperformed the expectations in the spring based off of his recruitment.

It's by design that Samari Matthews is the only cornerback coming in this weekend.

I love trench recruiting.  Told some of my buddies yesterday.

 

”I can’t ever remember a time where I have wanted every single OL, DL, and edge recruit taking an OV to commit to Texas.”

 

It’s an unbelievable time to be a fan of Texas football.  They are recruiting at a higher level than I’ve ever seen before and I include the Mack years because they are able to go nationally in a way that he never truly did.

2027 nationally ranked CB Josh Dobson is back at Texas A&M for the second straight day. He’s not expected at Texas this afternoon, but the plan is to get him back for a game this fall. 

Texas hosted Dobson in the spring, and I expect him to be a recurring name for the next cycle.
