Jay Humphrey deserves a nod.

Yarbrough was a long-time judge in Galveston before becoming mayor of Galveston.

I think Jonah Williams’ father may have taken over that bench from Yarbrough. Small world.

Jay's cousin played TE for SMU and Utah and is now an OT in the NFL. I took him on a recruiting visit to Lousiana Tech when he was still in high school. His other cousin was a RB at SDSU.  He also had a cousin who played college basketball, iirc. I believe Jay's dad played in the NFL as well.

Very talented family and some big ol' boys.
