Quinncent McManning, Jr. Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago CJ do you know if we ever reached out to Savion Hiter? Usual sec and big 10 schools involved though looks like he is going to Tennessee or Michigan. An absolute stud of a RB. Wonder if we figured for sure we’ll be fine with Osborne, Edwards or Crowell and just didn’t recruit him. Quote

Sark seems to stick on his primary guys and hang around the rim until NSD. I feel weird levels of zen that we’ve already heard our guy’s name, and we land a primary target in the end. Would be pretty cool if it was somehow Cooper 🤤, but I digress. And another thing! You dudes on the livestreams digress too much. If I drank every time Jeff digressed I’d be haymered on the regular. 2 Quote

jbseamus83 Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago I'm not a scout or expert, but my opinion is that this kid should not be a take for this class. I would like to hear @Gerry Hamilton or @Bobby Burton opinion of his talent level and running style. To me, he doesn't seem to separate, runs very upright, and doesn't show much lateral quickness. I could definitely be wrong and if the staff actually likes him and he somehow becomes part of this class, I will root for him. I just don't see him seeing the field at Texas. 1 Quote
TooBrokeToPayAttention21 Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Bring this guy to Austin NOW!!! I saw his tape and he has shiftiness and wiggle. He's not the fastest but fast enough and if he gets into the open field no one is catching him. Quote
TooBrokeToPayAttention21 Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Well Bussey played in 2A ball and looking at this kids tape he has the tools but just needs some development. He's shifty, slippery, etc (insert other like adjectives here) and has the moves to get into the open field. Now he's not 10.4 fast in the open field but fast enough that nobody is catching him when he gets there. I think he's a take now and to get some momentum in that position. If he really develops some more his senior year he could be a diamond in the rough for us. 🤘😁 Quote

Film is pretty meh especially considering competition level. He also shows no patience. Quote
Assistant Regional Manager Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Some of y’all need to learn there is a long runway between making contact with a kid and actually pushing for them. Texas probably contacts 150 kids a cycle. Quote

Rowden said he is familiar with Scott, and that there was a conversation about a week ago where Texas was checking in on the New Boston four-star back. The 5-foot-11-inch running back holds 24 offers at the moment, and took four official visits in the month of June: May 30: TCU June 6: Texas Tech June 13: Minnesota June 20: Houston As far as I know, there was no visit conversation, but Rowden certainly becomes a name to monitor on the trail. Deep in the heart Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago I wouldn't mind just getting ready for 2027, I feel good about the RB room after this season. This is a product of coach Choice stacking the room before he left. I'm more looking to see us stack on both lines of scrimmage like we are doing this cycle. Let's see those dominoes fall. Quote

.45s Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago It's refreshing to see a consensus on Ashton Rowden! 😀 Quote
