Great final 10 minutes to blow open a tied game to a 19 pt lead. Weaver and Disu coming up big, Weaver with 9 pts in about a 3 minute span

Yep that 3 minute span by Weaver was amazing. That kid is the basketball version of all gas no brakes. Really lifted the team today.

Time will tell.   I do agree he does the Barnes thing of allowing runs to go on with no time out, which annoys me.   He also plays non-scoring lineups too often but frankly it's hard to find a scoring lineup with this bunch.   My biggest criticism so far is roster construction.   He brought in some transfers who frankly aren't that good.  Weaver isn't that good but at least he has insane energy and athleticism.   Abmas can score but is a liability on defense.  All the other guys he brought in are pure jags.

I actually think Weaver is really good and has been held back. Hell, I’ll be the first one to say it. He’ll be the best guard in the nation in 2025. #Westbrook 2.0

Terry has found his closing lineup.

Hunter, Abmas, Weaver, Cunnigham, and Disu have the potential to obilerate teams offensively, and the defense wasn't bad today. That lineup for the most part closed out OSU 29-13 in the last 12 minutes. I think a similar lineup was putting the screws to Tech before Brock got thrown out.

Convenient to say after his best game of the year.   The reality is, coming in he was shooting 20% from beyond the arc.  That's not promising.

He's coming on very fast ... just what Texas needs at the right time.

Chendall Weaver ... 9.3 points, 4.6 rebounds in last 11 games + plus the defense, energy and winning plays ...

Next year when he becomes a 32-34% three-point shooter, watch out.

Said it after seeing him in high school and when he hopped in the portal ... he's going to play pro ball on some level. He's going to maximize every ounce of potential he has.

Texas up to No. 27 in NCAA NET after the win Saturday.

That dog WILL hunt

What's on the line Monday:

Big Monday win at Baylor would shoot Texas up to the 6 seed line, and may lock in a 7 seed even if the Horns lost at home vs. OU.

With a Baylor loss and OU win:

Texas would likely be sitting on the 7 seed line headed into the Big 12 Tourney

You nailed the eval on Weaver. Tip of the cap Gerry.
