Gerry, Bobby and I have done various studies regarding this topic over the years.

I know thinking change over time and there are ebbs and flows. But I’m driving to the Houston area today and it occurred to me how good Brenham has been to the Longhorns. From Roosevelt Leaks to Limas Sweed to Malcom Brown, there have been some great Texas football players who’ve come from the land of Blue Bell.

It’s hard to top the Brenham pipeline in both quality and quantity.

Austin High… lol… “loyal forever”. Was Burke Collins the last player to get a scholarship from Austin High? Maybe there was a wr in there…
