Personally I won't be able to see what's going on until I can get my hands on the all 22. It won't be until then, that I'll be able to understand if all of the misses were on Quinn. Lol at least he ain't throwing pick 6s like 40 year old Tyler Shough. Agree completely. 1 Quote

Sundancekid Posted Sunday at 10:36 PM Posted Sunday at 10:36 PM People need to quit pretending Quinn Ewers is a capable NFL quarterback. He’s just not. Gerry Hamilton often mentions that one position group that should never reclassify is a quarterback. The intangibles gained from this experience builds confidence and some alpha moxy. Quinn did chop the mullet finally. 2 Quote

Remember Sam Darnold seeing ghosts. If McDaniel thinks he can work with then there's no harm in keeping him on the practice squad, if he doesn't then cut him. 1 Quote
SamuraiKnight Posted Sunday at 11:04 PM Posted Sunday at 11:04 PM I watched the whole game (Easy to do as a Bears fan) really wanted to see how Quinn performed in comparison to Zach Wilson. Dolphins 3rd stringers are not good (except Ollie Gordon) so it's hard to tell what he might have looked like with a better supporting cast. And It hard to tell if the play calling was terrible or if his decision making was. But that was hard to watch. He did not look like he belonged. I was foolishly hoping he was gonna put people on notice that he is better than 7th round, but that was not a good first look. He isn't escaping the pocket well, and he is relying on trying to get a pass interference call like he did at Texas, rather than looking for the open player. I'm rooting for the guy, but he isn't making it easy on himself. There are flashes, but the game seem a bit fast at the moment 1 Quote

I think I had this unrealistic hope he was gonna come out and wow everybody and show he should ahve been a 2nd-3rd round pick. Truth is, he may need a little bit of time to develop. 1 Quote

Califashorn75 Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago The NFL is not one to reward sorta capable quarterbacks. There are simply no tears given. Quinn won a lot of games for us because he had the benefit of great players around him. He appears to be a nice guy. We root for his success, but he needs to improve. That goes for every player in the League. 1 Quote
