It's a tough business. Hard to sustain a career, all the more impressive when players due, but often there's luck, timing, and uncontrollable factors that come in to play as well...

I've been following Longhorns football since 1968, including some years as an undergrad and graduate student.

Banks was so good that many games I didn't notice him at all. I remember some instances (thankfully rare) where the Texas QBs had to play under siege because the OTs were having a bad day or just had deficiencies.

Banks was great for the Longhorns and he came to the team just when his talent was needed.

Agreed as a Giants fan.. although different type of WRs, they keep giving Jalin Hyatt a shot which drives me nuts. Reason why this franchise stinks
