Hi all, 

Joined OTF today just to keep up with my hometown team (I’m a Raider, wife is an Aggie, two Red Raider kids and another that’s starting her second year at Arkansas). Love seeing the ascension of Texas Football and pulling for them and the Razorbacks while hoping my Red Raiders don’t sh*t the bed. Here’s a whiskey over ice to everyone for a great deer season and an unforgettable year for the Horns! 
 

three weeks can’t get here soon enough!

If your sister had gone to Notre Dame and your brother to Oklahoma your family tree would include pretty much every team we hate!

Welcome anyway ... I would wish the Raiders luck but my heart isn't in it after the way Coach McGuire bad mouthed us as we were leaving the Big 12.

I'll leave you with this image of one of our incoming EDGE recruits matched up with Tech's $5,100,000 5* LT ... the ones with Kreul and Ford are even worse.

How good is football season? 
 

If your team has any expectations at all, it’s miserable. This isn’t fun nor should it be.  Stakes are high and in the game of gridiron  you win or die. There is no middle ground.

My wife is an Aggie too, but thankfully she doesn’t root for them. 

Unlike most of our subscribers, I actually like Joey (although not a huge fan of his collegiate antics), but one of my best friends is a Tech alum and I love giving him hell when they lose. With that said, I think they will fare well this year. They better!

Arkansas I just can’t get on board with. 

Regardless, again, thanks for joining the site! We hope you enjoy your time here and our constant growing community truly is one of the best aspects of this place. While OTF is obviously full of Texas fans (except @Joe Zura… he has Oregon blood in his veins), it’s also full of people who just love football (amongst other sports).

No matter who we all root for, one thing is for sure… we are ALL glad college football is back.

He is trash. Enjoyed booing him at the Big 12 Championship and really enjoyed laughing at him after we beat the Mouthbreather McGuire 57-7 Hope Tech and that trash school loses every game.

Booing him in Arlington was borderline erotic.  He’s a carnival barker.  He lucked out with the pac 12 dying and took advantage.  Yet no one watches their games.

Trash school. Hmmm. I think I’ve done alright and my boys are killing it and have some of the best friends you could ask for. You can hate on Joey and all things Texas Tech football but be better, bud.

I have to root for TCU to win the Big 12 this year since I named them my super dog on C&F, along with Georgia Tech as my underdog (in all of CFB).

LOL.  I didn't attend either school and don't have much of a rooting interest either way, even though I live just 8 miles from the ASU campus.  Rarely watch their games, though I might check in this year to see if they'll make the CFP again. I was really impressed with Skatteboo though.

I did like watching Lute's teams play, back in the day.  Their national championship run was a thing of beauty.
