Michigan got an expensive, but affordable, slap on the wrist. Harbaugh doesn't care about coming back to college ball. Moore actively participates in cheating then intentionally deletes evidence and is only missing 3 early games. Should have included at least a one-year playoff/bowl ban. 3 Quote
Assistant Regional Manager Posted Friday at 04:47 PM Posted Friday at 04:47 PM Imagine how weak the penalties will be on the NIL cap stuff if this is the punishment for openly cheating during a game. 1 Quote

And they'll be games against inferior opponents where the team could basically coach themselves without needing any coaches on the sideline and still would win handily 99% of the time. Quote

I have always hated the NCAA, but this is egregious even for them. We have a scenario where a team got caught repeatedly cheating, and the NCAA, through action, has clearly indicated they prioritize their own income over the integrity of college sports. To not vacate wins or punish Moore is inexcusable. Quote

That's assuming Moore is the coach in 26. The guy had 1 good year and that came with the Harbaugh carry-over influence. Michigan will go shopping ....soon Quote
Longhornlove Posted Friday at 06:19 PM Posted Friday at 06:19 PM A kid bets on sports not even associated with his and is banished forever, a Team actually cheats to gain advantage while winning the National Championship, slap on the wrist and some fines booster dig out of their couch cushins. 1 Quote

The school is paying the financial penalties, not them. Quote
ElCafetero Posted Friday at 09:10 PM Posted Friday at 09:10 PM well it looks like they’ll appeal, highly doubt they win tho Quote

You got caught cheating repeatedly over an extended period of time, but instead of taking your victory, you play the victim. Quote

If they go celebrating like "haha we got away with it" then . . . well doesn't really affect anything really. Quote
