Is our D-Line a problem

It's been 2 games and we only have 2 total sacks and Colin Simmons only had .5 sacks and is leading the country in penalties. Should we fire Baker and PK and who should we get to replace them. I'm pretty sure after that Oregon game, OSU DC will be free after the season.

Just to be serious for a second, I would like to see a bit more out of our pass rush, considering how talented that room is. Even with a vanilla defense, we should still have been all over SJSU, sack wise. 

We'll see moving forward but I'm expecting big things from that group this year. Simmons needs to stop trying to do too much and just go with the flow.

We should have kept Jaray Bledsoe instead of Colin Simmons. We should fire Sark and re-hire Tom Herman because clearly our d-line is failing the pee test. We should merge with OU so that we can have a Venables-coached defense. We should just quit football altogether because Arch isn’t already an NFL hall of famer by now.

While there are some flashing red lights, there is a section of the fanbase that drive themselves to the verge of a heart attack or stroke. They never take a step back and look at the whole college landscape. They seem to think that to win it all you have to be the best everywhere. As if Michigan didn't just win a couple of years ago without an NFL reciever on the roster.

Why would you page me? The defense is the best part of our program and has proven to be elite in big games. The offense on the other hand does not. 

PFF Grades so far:

Stroh: 47.6  grade vs SJSU, 44.9 vs OSU

Neto:  61.7 vs SJSU, 65.6 vs OSU 

baker: 59.1 vs SJSU, 41.0 vs OSU

Campbell: 64.3 SJSU, 60.7 vs OSU

Cole Hutson: 47.4 SJSU, 63.2 OSU

Goosby 82.7 SJSU, 73.9 OSU

 

Basically anything below 60 is bad and anything above 80 is good and close to 90 is elite
