Seems like white running backs are often under rated. Lots of great running backs in Texas this year… didn’t think this guy would be our take… a little Mack Brownish. I trust Texas’ evaluation and roster management for the most part. Colt McCoy wasn’t taken very seriously when we took him as a backup plan to Cryin’ Ryan.

At least he looks bigger than a guy like Brock Fitzhenry.

About 6” if I am not mistaken. 6’2” and 215lbs and moves pretty well. He is well liked as a linebacker as well. Win win. I do like having some local flavor no doubt. Michael Taafe has been exceptional on so many levels. Makuba came back home and played lights out. Ethan Burke is maxing out his talent as well. Vasek…  remains to be seen.

Historically I have had a pretty good eye for running backs and in my opinion Jett Walker is legit.

if you stay healthy and doesn't fumble the ball then this kid has the talent to share starter carries for Texas in my opinion.

He runs through tackles and has long speed.  He is physical.  He can pick up blitzes.  I like him!
