NothinButDaHorns34 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Welp, I guess he wasn’t the “huge recruiting news” Bobby was eluding to last week that never transpired 1 Quote
Quinncent McManning, Jr. Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Disappointing that we would lose the top in state wr to Oregon for 2 straight years. Maybe it’s nil or samples whispering go blaze your own trail but still stings, especially for a legacy. That said I love Bishop in this class as the twitchy fast WR take. 4 Quote

JMarquette Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I never want to drop 7 figures for a Freshman WR again. Good luck to Jalen, at this point through, just not worth it. 1 Quote

It’s when a guy committed to an another school changes their mind and chooses your school. There are many examples of this happening over the past few years. And one of the reasons Bobby and Gerry said we were “staying on him.” Quote

Atticus Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago What this team really needs is more overpriced true freshman receivers. Lott is good, but is worth blowing your budget on? Enjoy Eugene, play about 3-5 games a year and stack your money buddy. Quote

MikeH Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Not surprising that we're having a tougher road with WRs this cycle. Took three 5-stars last cycle, none of whom have played much. McCutcheon, theoretically the fourth WR take last year, has emerged as quite possibly the best of that group. And you likely have four returning "starters" in Moore, Mosley, Wingo, and Livingstone. Plus Niblett as an occassional gadget guy. That's a lot of traffic in front of you if you're looking for early playing time. I'd imagine that not all 9 of those guys return for 2026. Moore could maybe go pro (though I'm not sure he's had the season he probably wanted to leading into a potential draft year). I'm guessing we'll struggle to retain all the 2025 signees if all the starters return as well. But even if we lose a couple, that's going to be a lot of returning talent for 2026. Quote

Hookem72 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I’m pretty happy with Kohen Brown and Bishop. If Michael Terry 3 or Lockett or Ffrench come on, and we get someone in the portal we are not in bad shape. i think Kohen Brown is really underrated. Quote

Moore, and now Lott? What's the production thus far? In two years Stewart has played in 5 games due to injury, with decent production when healthy (48 rec, 5 TD, 613 yards). Moore has played in 5 games this year (again, missed time due to injury). 28 catches, 3 TD, 443 yards - also 4 carries for 49 yards and a TD). They are excellent recruits and I wish they had gone to Texas, but so far out of 36 possible games they've been healthy for just 10 of them. Quote
SchoolColors Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Good, use that NIL allocation for the portal for much bigger needs than a guy who is a better athlete than WR. Quote

My only concern is that the WR room will still lack the speed that we needed this year. The portal should hopefully have some speed available. Quote
