  1. Ugh. He looks like a natural. They’re gonna throw some money at him for baseball I bet.
  2. Wisner, I would think, is one. The other is up for grabs.
  3. Has lots of family ties to Texas.
  4. Gerry H and CJ, this may be worth the discussion.
  5. Adding this from earlier today.
  6. Gerry and CJ talk about the portal battle between the SEC teams and who came out on top.
  7. Gerry and CJ talk about the portal battle between the SEC teams and who came out on top. View full news
  8. We need a lawyer to explain all of this to us. I spoke to one over the weekend that I’m going to try to talk to some more.
  9. It’s the Ivy League. But if they’re employees there, then surely they would meet that criteria in other conferences, too. https://www.thescore.com/ncaab/news/2838475
  10. I don't know about "more than" because X had similar speed. However, I definitely think Bond could do it better! More natural competitive pass catcher than X.
  11. Have not heard. But the number was supposed to be 25. Arch , if he starts two full years, would be right at that number or above it.
  12. I think it thins out *some* in April/May.
  13. Lot of truth in that LA statement. Same with NYC athletes. For every legit one like Derek Jeter, they think Tiki Barber should be similar.
  14. 1. Done for 2024 high school recruiting unless someone pops up late. 2. Second signing day is this Wednesday. 3. Texas did not pursue further.
  15. Good question. 35-45 catches is my guess.
  16. Is Reid the only HC in the NFL who has a big endorsement deal? I was trying to the think of another pro coach who had a major endorsement deal and couldn't think of one.
  17. I'll go with Murphy and Sweat above all others. Sweat may only start on first and second downs.
  18. Everyone is pinpointing Worthy to the Chiefs because they have such a need for speed and receiver. But I am thinking some other teams are going to be interested because of those traits and trying to emulate what has worked in KC and in Miami of late.
  19. This is 100-percent correct!!! 🙂
  20. That was my initial question, too! But then CJ reminded me that Malik Agbo was a 350-pound TE on his 7v7 team.
  21. They do have a certain Hoka-ness to them!
  22. I think this is a fair question. The truth is, we don’t know how much of an impact he had. I would say that he wasn’t really involved in evaluating players as much as he was the system he instituted. He did something at Texas that I think was better than it’s ever been before. More people, earlier evals, then broadening the scope of recruiting, too. Now some of that was by Sark’s hand and direction and some of it was his own doing and expertise. I think he’s a loss to the organization. But I also think Sark is capable of hiring and evaluating good people to fill the roles.
