  1. This is a great question. Wish I would have seen it. We’ll circle back to it on Monday for sure.
  2. Interesting. Texas played 11 games in Texas this past year. Only Alabama, Iowa State and Washington were the only games outside the state.
  3. Not at this time.
  4. And we’re live. If you have any questions, feel free to leave them here.
  5. As always on Friday afternoon, special thanks to Andy Luedecke of MyPerfectFranchise.net for his sponsorship. If you're ever thinking about owning your own business and think the franchise game may be your best, reach out to Andy for some expert guidance. Andy@myperfectfranchisenet. Andy's been doing this for a long, long time and helped so many people start their own franchises.
  6. Thanks for context.
  7. Join Rod Babers, CJ Vogel and myself on this afternoon's Livestream. We're going to talk about early returns from off-season workouts, Kenny Baker and more. Hook'Em! https://youtube.com/live/BoOKwvoQHF8

  9. Agree with Scott. Puka killed it. But Stroud lifted an entire organization.
  10. Agree with you about level expectations being somewhat similar for a five star player. But only to a degree. Every player and situation is different. Context matters. For example, Hill didn't have two returning starters in front of him. Also, the closer you are to the ball, the more physically prepared you need to be. If Simmons can prove disruptive in spurts and look like an heir apparent at one of the DE spots, that's really what I'm looking for. 15-25 tackles, 2-3 sacks. About 20-25% of playing time. And if those are the expectations of Simmons, what are the appropriate expectations for five star Brandon Baker? I just think it's all about context.
  11. Hi Jaron, thanks for the kind words. The split was a mutual parting of the ways I think is the best way to describe it. It happens. At any rate, I'm glad we're here now and glad you and others are joining in. The idea is to create a place all Longhorns feel welcome and we can talk about the team and recruiting as much as we want.

  13. Tashard Choice keeps grinding in Atlanta. Devin Carter, WR, 2026, Cedar Grove HS
  14. I'd temper those.
  15. Love this graphic and what it means for Tashard Choice.
  16. These are good problems to have!
  17. Unsure. Let's see how it plays out over the next month or so.
  18. I agree. He needs to take the next step. To CJ's point during the show, he's already better than some give him credit for.
  19. Yes. The daily Coffee and Football posts that he pins. Include questions in that thread.
  20. This is exactly the concern IMO.
  21. He’s gonna be a Longhorn. It’s predestined.
  22. I look at this a little differently. I don’t see it as a logjam unless guys are producing at a high level. Right now, I don’t see that. I see guys who are solid starters but no major producers. Maybe that’s the logjam actually. And someone needs to break free.
  23. Thanks for posting. If you guys see any of these, please let us know. Very helpful, especially out of state players we’re not already following.
  24. This is accurate. Historically, people overvalue what they know than the unknown. There are a lot of good DL coaches out there. Some just need a chance, a bigger platform.
  25. The Sark stuff from Milroe was good.
