  1. huh? They're 9-0
  2. Yes, great post!...basically what I've been writing for 6 weeks as well. If you want a winning record, then Ewers is your man. He's good to the point that he may even beat some really good teams. But he has certain weaknesses: 1) low delivery point in comparison to other great passers 2) not mobile at all, which is just another way of saying he's not a great ATHLETE,...he won't get confused with Mahomes anytime soon. 3) When he DOES run he usually gets some much needed yards because no one expects him to run.. 4) his long throws are so far off so often that no teams respect the long ball from him. That means the defenses can concentrate sole on the intermediate routes and the running game. Therefore, IF Ewers throws an accurate long ball, it is a TD because the safeties ignored the possibility of the long throw before the game even began. His strengths: 1) Pinpoint accuracy in the short to intermediate throws 2) his TIMING on those throws is exceptional 3) he knows the offense as well as any QB that has ever played ANY offense in college 4) In spite of his lower than desired release point, the ball rolls off his fingers with ease and produces a tight spiral and easy to catch as well...it's why the ball rarely sails on him...if anything the ball is thrown in such a way that the aerodynmics of it all mean the nose of the football may even be a little low at the catch point, making catches easier...IMO As far as Arch is concerned: 1) We have no idea just how good he can be 2) but, we can see that he is extremely accurate on those bombs 3) because the defense MUST account for the high possibility of a bomb threat, they cannot sellout on the run...EVER...this means the running game SHOULD be better under Arch 4) Arch can throw from the pocket, escape from the pocket, throw on the run, and, run...and he's dangerous there as he is pretty dern fast That means Arch has a Mahomes type of game. Great arm, great accuracy, danger from anywhere regardless of down and yardage or field position. Barring injury Arch will be better than not only Quinn, but perhaps the best prospect from and NFL prospective since Mahomes...even though SOME morons didn't recognize it in Mahomes at the time of the draft! All that to say I love me some Quinn, but he has some pressing issues that need to be addressed. Strangely, even after all those issues, I STILL see him better than some of the 1st round QB picks in the latest draft. Does that mean Quinn will go first round? That is yet to be determined. I think we boatrace Kentucky, and aTm. Our biggest threats in the playoffs? UGA and Alabama. Oregon's Dillon Gabrielle? we'll be ready for that pesky, slippery, rat THIS time! tOSU is ALWAYS dangerous, of course. Let the games begin. JMO
  3. check THIS out: coronal hole movie
  4. yes...from LASCO C2...go to SolarHam.net
  5. Lord, Colt needs you now more than ever. Take him in your arms and heal him and protect him. And take him through the rehab process for success! In God's name we pray. Amen
  6. You can't play sports scared. Play agressive and with confidence and let the chips fall where they may.
  7. Never heard of that turtle, Tom F'n Herman.
  8. A lot can happen in the next 4 weeks. Not sure Reed survives all the way to the TEXAS game. He's one dangerous man, but his style of QB play puts him at risk. Same with us, really. Quinn COULD get dinged by the aTm game. Or DURING the aTm game. If the SEC knows what's good for them, they will NOT injure Quinn. The consequence is Arch...and he's dangerous. The finish to the season will be a barn-burner, no doubt. The best team AT THIS POINT may not be the best team at the end. For my money, TEXAS is right there with UGA and OR. I think we can contain Dylan this next time around if we play OR. We SHOULD have learned some things from the way Floriduh played UGA. tOSU is always dangerous, but they can be beaten. I'd like to see TEXAS vs UGA for all the marbles at the end. That's not a prediction, just a WISH! We'll see.
  9. Probably...but it appears he's turned himself into a pro prospect, so coaching may have to happen later!
  10. It doesn't affect his AVAILABILITY...but certainly interrupts his workouts and preparation. Of course, he's an elite athlete so he'll be good in the long run!
  11. Bummer for Jonah. It's a physical game. Injuries happen. Good luck to the young man. And to add insult to injury, this likely affects his baseball playing as well. He's a young athlete and elite athletes like that have a nasty habit of healing better than your average bear.
  12. I played golf for UT...doubt I'm OU anything. Perhaps I misunderstood your post...if so, my apologies
  13. you trolls are a funny lot...except you ain't funny
  14. weird...for some reason I thought he'd already done that...
  15. Are you saying that Cesar's is leveling odds on such a thing?
  16. I didn't realize Bryce was benched. I've written a bit about how I just didn't see a first-round talent in him. I'm not saying he can't make it in the league, but I just thought Bryce Yourng was overrated. Time will tell on that, of course!
  17. awesome...of course, returning to practice and actually seeing time on the field are different animals. I think he's going to do very well once he gets in there. No reason to rush him. He would have been a SR here at Texas this year.
  18. True, but you must admit that Mississippi State scored 3 TDs against UGA. Our 3 came in 6 games and we played MS. Of course, it's all a process. That's what makes this so fun. Injuries and official's calls can change everything, but I still like our chances. Oh, and UGA best not injure Quinn if they know what's good for them. Arch will make them pay.
  19. and 2 of those 3 TDs came in garbage time
  20. Negative Nancies and Trolls of Epic Proportions wanted to fire PK and staff. PEOPLE? not so much
  21. I would go for 2 if I was LSU
