  1. That is conceivable, but unlikely. As someone who’s followed Texas football closely and trying to contribute to the discussion in a thoughtful way, I’d like to offer a few clarifying points: 1. The original assessment was based on the publicly reported MRI findings (bone bruise from hyperextension, no structural ligament or meniscus damage), which genuinely does represent one of the better possible outcomes after a non-contact knee injury to a starting left tackle. 2. Framing it as shifting from a “potentially season-altering injury” to a “temporary offensive-line management problem” is simply an accurate reflection of the difference between an ACL and a bone bruise in terms of timeline and long-term impact. 3. While the phrasing may have come across as a bit polished or structured, that doesn’t automatically mean it was AI-generated. Plenty of fans try to write clearly when discussing injury news that matters this much. Ultimately, the important thing is that Goosby avoided the worst-case scenario, and the Longhorns now have a more manageable (if still imperfect) situation to work through. Happy to discuss the potential snap counts or depth chart implications if that’s more productive than debating writing style. Just trying to keep the conversation constructive.
  2. I tried this once with a series of Joe Z posts. I literally had to unplug my computer. It was threatening to call child protective services.
  3. I gave grok expert some of the information from this thread. It got non-contact on its own. It agreed that you could walk off the field even with an ACL injury before swelling sets in and adrenaline is high.
  4. Is this a Hank problem or a Trevor problem? Back in the day when we had to dial up Jerry Scarborough at $10 a minute to get information nobody got injured. Nobody that I knew of.
  5. He’s quoting the prediction, daddy. Not quoting the player. My goodness.
  6. It isn’t a quote from LWC. It’s an opinion. LWC misread the situation. Newberg should have phrased that better.
  7. I am more confident that he will commit than I am that Royal will stick.
  8. The Kansas AG put it nicely. If the Texas State Attorney General takes any action beyond its poorly reasoned letter, we stand ready to assist …
  9. I’m talking about the legal analysis in the letters. We know it’s a political letter and we know why Paxton wrote it. But he didn’t have to write gibberish.
  10. Based solely on the two letters, Oklahoma is doing much better on the legal analysis sort of thing.
  11. No, it means effectively he has won.
  12. Just based on the CTJ newsletter from this site, I’m guessing Meredith and Tu’upo.
  13. Not SEC ready. Scared of Dorsey.
  14. I grew up hating Billy and liking Ketch. Experiencing both on X the roles are now reversed. And yes, he does make a fool of himself, but he does it with a certain amount of humility.
  15. I haven’t gotten any warnings. But for some reason it is asking me for the password to my Citi account.
