  1. @SADBoyzUnite had a workaround that might help. At least you can clear the cart and start over. “Found a work around. If you go to "Orders" (under the drop down menu labeled "More"), you can cancel the prior invoices (that's how things got cued up if you had the order previously set in place but didn't finish the order). After you do that, the discount code will work again. I just got the annual subscription with the discount code working.”
  2. Per Football Scoop Sources: Texas to add former SEC position coach to support staff Former Ole Miss corners coach and new Texas analyst Keynodo Hudson first worked for Steve Sarkisian at USC. ZACH BARNETT MAR 26, 2024 Former Ole Miss cornerbacks coach Keynodo Hudson is expected to join the Texas staff as an analyst, sources confirmed to FootballScoop on Tuesday. Inside Texas first reported Hudson's hiring; Hudson was seen working with the Longhorn defensive backs during the first week of UT's spring practices. Hudson spent 2023 coaching Ole Miss's cornerbacks but was not retained after Lane Kiffin hired former Louisville defensive coordinator Bryan Brown as co-defensive coordinator and secondary coach. A West Virginia Tech graduate, Hudson has previously coached defensive backs at Western Kentucky, Illinois, and Florida Atlantic. Hudson was a defensive administrative assistant at USC from 2012-16, which overlapped with Steve Sarkisian's season and a half leading the Trojans. Texas has been looking for another set of eyes in the secondary. The Longhorns were previously set to bring former secondary coach Duane Akina back to Austin, but Akina opted to remain at Arizona upon the change from Jedd Fisch to Brent Brennan. Akina is now Arizona's defensive coordinator. The Longhorns finished 49th nationally in pass efficiency defense in 2023, but return four of five starters in the secondary. https://footballscoop.com/news/sources-texas-add-former-sec-position-coach-to-support-staff-keynodo-hudson-ole-miss-usc
  3. 4 are true freshman and the 3 WR from 2023 saw little time last year. Outside of the portal guys we have virtually zero experience at WR. Just because you, as a SR, would be scared to compete with freshman doesn’t mean everyone else is.
  4. You may be correct, but geez, it was the first 30 minutes of the first practice with a new DL coach.
  5. Geez, why have any rules. Maybe the players could sue the NCAA over the 85 scholarship player limit and just let the players show up on the campus of their choice and then sue the school if they don’t put them on scholarship. Just kidding, sorta. The NFL has rules. The owners and coaches have to be able to assemble a team without the chaos of players changing teams anytime they want. NFL coaches get fired and position coaches change teams every year but players don’t get to cry about it and leave.
  6. Kansas lost to UH by 30 in the final regular season game and then by 20 to Cincy last night. I wonder the last time KU lost back to back games by 20 points or more. If their boards are anything like our football boards it has to be brutal.
  7. Agree. I remember the oddest things…lol
  8. @CJ Vogel Tom Herman had this to say regarding the OL prior to the 2017 season. The OL was Williams, Vahe, Shackelford, Jake McMillon and Nickerson. On the team's strengths and weaknesses: “I think we still need to find a consistent, productive right tackle. Those other four guys may be the national championship year at Ohio State that I was a part of, that might be the only other offensive line that could compare with these guys.” https://texassports.com/news/2017/8/28/football-tracking-the-longhorns-tom-herman-press-conference
  9. @dentonhorn @RollingPresidential The most hated player list was: Baker Mayfield Brian Bosworth Michael Crabtree Kyler Murray Johnny Manzel Adrian Peterson Sam Bradford Teddy Lehman
  10. That was a fun watch!
  11. Sweat and Murphy drills:
  12. If a player is tired of the recruiting process and knows where he wants to go then he can sign. Plus, you have your guaranteed NIL and don’t have to worry about an injury during your senior season . Not everything in life is about leveraging the very last dollar out of someone.
  13. Pretty sure he was not responsible for those. Davis was at UT from 2011-2013 before returning in 2021. I believe Malcom Brown and Ridgeway were the only 2 from that timeframe but their recruiting profiles don’t list Davis as their recruiter. Assuming it’s accurate it shows Oscar Giles recruited Brown and Bruce Chambers recruited Ridgeway.
  14. If you are talking about Sydir Mitchell, January and Melvin Hills (who hopefully enrolls in June) I am not sure but I was giving Bo the benefit of the doubt….although I suspect Kyle Flood was heavily involved in the Mitchell recruitment.
  15. We’re seeing that in the DL. Bo Davis didn’t sign the numbers necessary or the high end elite talent. If you evaluate well you can get by with developing players as long as the pipeline is full. Signing only Sydir Mitchell in the 2023 class on the DL was borderline insane. And to follow that up with only 2 DT in 2024 puts you at a disadvantage headed into the SEC. Praying for a difference maker at DT from the portal is not a strategy you want to rely on.
  16. @Bobby Burton Good article. To make things worse were the lack of impact quarterbacks on the roster during the past 15 years before Ewers and Arch.
  17. @Gerry Hamilton @CJ Vogel What type of feedback are you hearing on Kenny Baker and recruiting. Is he doing better or worse than you expected at this point. Bo Davis was a good developer of the talent he inherited but he didn’t leave the cupboard full.
  18. Good article. IIRC Babers liked to talk. Who are a couple of players in this years secondary group who are the best trash talkers. I think Babers said during his playing days “no one catches the ball on my side of the field, not even me.” referring to the fact he thought he didn’t have the greatest hands.
  19. Pretty funny:
