  1. Geez. I win the bonehead of the year award…lol
  2. 99 yard TD run on the final play.
  3. Desoto trailed SLC 37-21 in the 3rd qtr before 2 TD and 2 two point conversions to tie the game at 37. SLC scored to go up 44-37 early in the 4th qtr. DeSoto tied it at 44 then went up 51-44 with just over 6 minutes remaining. SLC turns the ball over on downs and the forces DeSoto to punt. SLC blocks the punt and took over at the 32. SLC completed a pass to the 2. Then was sacked and had 3rd and goal from the 10. A pass interference penalty gave SLC a first and goal at the 2 with under a minute remaining. DeSoto stopped SLC on 4th down at the one. DeSoto took over on downs and on the on the final play of the game Sarod Baker had a 99 yard TD run and DeSoto won 57-44.
  4. When you look at most watched games of 2025 thru rivalry weekend, the SEC had at least one team in 17 of the top 20 most watched games. The Big ten had at least one team in 4 of the top 20. The ACC had a team in 3 games and Notre Dame had one. Big XII had zero. 15 of the top 20 most watched games were conference games. 13 of the top 20 most watched games were SEC conference games. The Big Ten had 2 conference games. No other conference had one. The other 5 were non conference games. Big XII had zero. Cody Campbell knows this but he wants to ride the coattails of the most popular schools and mooch TV money once again. He has the Big XII good ole day syndrome when Texas and OU generated TV revenue for the everyone in the conference. Same with the PAC 12 where a few teams generated the lion share of TV revenue,
  5. Don’t doubt that, but with that MO, how did they end up with Moore after Harbaugh left for the NFL. You would think they would have had a HC that had previous experience.
  6. Texas Tech says hi.
  7. What is the cost benefit if a loss keeps us out of the playoffs? With a 9 game SEC schedule next year 2 conference losses will be common.
  8. Downside of having ex head coaches “assist” you for a year until they get their next head coaching job. They get to learn from your operation and poach from within. Seems like hiring the wrong analyst can do long term harm to your program.
  9. We can control our OOC schedule. If we keep OSU on the schedule next year it’s our own fault.
  10. I think it was that gritty 14-7 fourth qtr come from behind win over 1-11 Georgia State that did it. Ten of their 12 wins were against teams that didn’t have a winning record. Can’t make this up. ND, BYU, Texas, Vandy, Utah, Michigan, USC fans etc have to be shaking their heads. The committee successfully angered a ton of fans.
  11. I hope Oregon beats James Madison 100-0.
  12. First TD catch and run by Bishop:
  13. With this committee, who knows. If the final is 13-10 I could see them putting IU at one and OSU at two. But I wouldn’t bet money on anything they might do.
  14. If we are dumb enough to continue scheduling Ohio State, Michigan etc then I don’t want to hear Sark or Del Conte complain about our schedule. We have control over our non conference schedule. We all know the rules now….only wins and losses count, not level of competition. Texas Tech is laughing. Texas and OU left the Big XII and they diluted the conference with mediocre teams. TT decides to schedule nobody in non conference play, then can’t even go undefeated in conference play after losing to ASU and they still get a playoff bye. UT mindset. Play toughest regular season schedule in the nation and then when we don’t make the playoffs, complain that everyone else played an easier schedule. Either adapt or STFU. Nobody is making us play those games.
  15. It will be interesting to see if Campbell does better at PSU than Franklin at VT.
  16. The committee should be fired for ranking Notre Dame over Miami even though Miami beat ND and they both have 10-2 records. It’s as if Miami never played ND. Why even play the game. Flawed logic implies there was logic to begin with. Their selection process is simple. They look at won loss records and pick the prettiest records. Here are their top 13 rankings. Ohio State: 12-0 Indiana: 12-0 Georgia: 11-1 Texas Tech: 11-1 Oregon: 11-1 Ole Miss: 11-1 Texas A&M: 11-1 Oklahoma: 10-2 Alabama: 10-2 Notre Dame: 10-2 BYU: 11-1 Miami (Fla.): 10-2 Texas: 9-3
  17. Yep, and if we were to sneak in and lose in the first round we would never live it down.
