    2000 - you meant 2001 but if mack goes to major sooner we probably get the pleasure of getting our heads beat in by an all-time great Miami team. 2014 - Bad luck chuck still finds a way to guide us to an embarrassing season. Probably wouldn't be the 6-7 it ended up being but at best we're talking maybe 8-5.

    Don't worry Gerry, I'm going to keep my thoughts super realistic which I will take your advice and not waste any time think about taking Thiam or anyone off the Michigan roster. Plus, the real prize is when Michigan decides to take Florida's coach and then we hit up one of the BMDs to bring in Thomas Haugh, am I right?

    Random question: In your time covering recruiting has there been a time where one state had both the #1 & #2 players in the nation for football (Brewster & Meredith) and basketball (Spears Jr & Black) at the same time? I'm sure its happened for Florida, California or maybe Georgia but just curious about that.

    There's a possible leap for someone as explosive as he is coming out of that more restricted system Randy Bennett ran at St Mary's compared to Sean Miller.

    Him winning ROTY and being sold as a foundational piece will make it hard for him to accept especially while he's still on his rookie deal and hasn't really gotten paid yet.

    They led by double digits in all 5 games and led for 72% of the series yet only won one game.

    Not trying to get you started but Dirk's biggest problem was Cuban and the trash front office. Dirk was "soft" early in his career but that wasn't true especially after Nash left and he was forced to carry the load.

    Briski from Alabama was largely seen as a better pitcher than Kavan this year and she's back next year but no one compares to Kavan in the clutch on the biggest stage.

    We forget it because it didn't happen. The guy that almost singlehandedly led ASU to beat us was Cam Skattebo. Sam Leavitt was just the trusty sidekick that kept them on schedule by avoiding sacks and extending plays but that game was the Cam Skattebo show.

    I think that is why Kiffin brought in 3 good transfer QBs as he knows he'll probably need the competition and depth at that position.

    What kind of fish does he keep? I had a 90 gallon freshwater African cichlid tank that I loved before I gave it up when moving out of state. Loved coming home after work and just watching the tank for an hour or so as a way to decompress. Have 3 kids now and might give it another go when they're a bit older but mortgage, daycare and extra curriculars is eating up all the disposable income right now.
