  1. Understandable. He's small. I hope he lands somewhere he can play and have fun.
  2. Understandable. I was hoping to watch him develop, but alas... Go get 'em somewhere else, DG.
  3. @Bobby Burton @CJ Vogel @Gerry Hamilton - It might be nice to have a separate thread to track Texas players leaving via portal.
  4. Another note on Clemson: THEY IN TROUBLE!!
  5. Does he even play? We shouldn't hit the portal for 3rd string OL.
  6. Good to see LilCoochieVert liked that post.
  7. I've never heard Norter. I've heard Noter 99% of the time for decades now.
  8. Zelus has good parents. 😉
  9. Yes, but you're A&M, so...
  10. Baylor and SMU making a big play here.
  11. It fit the moment. Apology appreciated though. I like to watch these with my son.
  12. Taaffe, Williams, Broughton.
  13. And?
  14. Did Todd Orlando call the 2nd half defense for GA Tech?

  16. He just needs to read the CJ Baxter article.
  17. Incredible. I'm going to say that it's a safe thing for us to believe that the locker room is in a good place and the culture is top-notch.
  18. People write this like it's insightful or different. File this away in your little brains: COACHES (even the ones you like) ARE MERCENARIES. THEY DON'T GIVE A RIP ABOUT THE SCHOOLS.
  19. Heck of a run, Mack. Time to go say sweet nothings on TV for a bit.
  20. And the school/admin made the change. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/42623049/north-carolina-fires-football-coach-mack-brown
  21. Dumb question. Coaches are fired multiple times in their careers, even the good ones. It's the nature of the job.
  22. I understand that, but it's not on the coach to leave. It's on the school/admin to make the change. I realize that Mack left a sour taste in the mouths of many Longhorns. Me included. However, I think this "Mack is selfish" stuff has outgrown the reality it was originally founded in, and it's silly.
  23. Why should he leave? I'm not leaving my job if they want to overpay me to keep on doing what I'm doing.
  24. I became a fan when I decided to attend. I made that decision in late spring 1997. Raised in Houston by LSU parents and was the first person in my family (grandparents, aunts, uncles) to NOT attend LSU. I still love LSU. Great people. And my parents moved to HTX after grad school and were immediately turned off by all the weirdo Aggies talking about "tradition" as if they were the only school in the world with traditions. My mom tells a story that one of her first weeks in Houston a lady in Sunday School bragged about standing up for the whole football game. My mom said something like "We do too. So do Ole Miss and Bama. We just don't act like that special." So I've been an Aggie-hater since birth in 1979.
