  1. Did Maalik play? πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ I thought he was gone to Corvallis.
  2. Savea and Cole evidently judged the Texas talent pool was too deep. I do not even remember Carter.
  3. If .... If .... If ...... Which means it never happened this year so we will never know.
  4. Did Kobe Black replace Manny for a few snaps? The taller Clemson WR were by Manny too quickly off the line and he could not catch up.
  5. LolΓ© also has made valuable disruptive contributions. It was fun to see Savea at FB on the goal line too.
  6. Just a little. The old insulated SEC is still adjusting to its Western expansion. SEC shorts is doing better than most fanbases.
  7. My favorite Christmas carol album is one recorded at the Radio City Music Hall in NYC in 1942 by the Robert Shaw Chorale. Besides having traditionally great arrangements but in mono, it was recorded when the world was under great threat from the fascist Axis powers and the future of the world was quite uncertain. One can feel the hope emanating from the performance. It elevates the performance above the cutesy post war radio songs that became popular Christmas culture. The album has been out of print for over half a century, unfortunately.
  8. Branch with his brother in a body bag wanting a scholarship too would be too much baggage for Sarkisian, I would expect. Also Lockett and Ffrench are likely to get some playing time early in 2025.
  9. If the B1G and SEC breakaway, there will be 5 teams from each of those conferences and two bones offered to the B12 and ACC Champions. The NCAA can go pound sand with the leftover NCAA teams.
  10. Nor would Texas take Poona Ford now Some serious wack in body type stereotyping. Byron's coveted 5⭐ teammate Shemar Stewart just completed his eligibility at aTm this year. Sometimes the consolation prize is better than the Grand Prize.
  11. That would be Tuscon. His teammate Lathan Ransom is the starting Safety at anOSU.
  12. So the rabble of newbie bandwagon casual fans should be followed by the longtime fan base? Yeah, that is not happening, especially among us alums.
  13. When one watches the Game of the Century, one will see a play where the Arkansas WR is about to go by Steinmark and be wide open for a TD. Steinmark tackled him to draw the PI call to prevent the winning TD. His leg was removed about a week later. Only God knows how he played in that game.
  14. I was in UT in that era. Everyone has to learn something the first time. 🀘🏻🀘🏼🀘🀘🏽🀘🏾🀘🏿

  16. The NIL era is absolutely the wild west. Top WR turning down the opportunity to play for Sark in favor of...Auburn and Arnold and a big bag.
  17. Bigger WR out quicked him off the line and he struggled to recover.
  18. Horns. Full story link below What we learned in Round 1: Texas can morph into whatever form necessary to advance. Quinn Ewersstarted 8-for-8, but he cooled off after a ball bounced off DeAndre Moore Jr.'s hands and turned into an interception. But the running game took over Saturday for the Longhorns. After running for a total of 60 yards in two losses to Georgia this year, the Longhorns had two 100-yard rushers against Clemson, just the fourth pair of running backs to top the century mark in the playoff. Jaydon Blue, who had 38- and 77-yard touchdown runs -- the second the Longhorns' longest run of the season -- added some explosiveness to an offense that has been methodical all season. This Texas team has dimensions where it can shift gears. X factor: Texas tight end Gunnar Helm is a reliable security blanket for Ewers and the Longhorns, catching a touchdown pass with 33 seconds left in the first half, and three of his other five catches went for first downs, all coming on first down. The threat of Helm on early downs over the middle softens up looks for the rest of the offense. The 6-5, 250-pound senior is now first in Longhorns history in catches by a tight end and second in yards and touchdowns by a tight end in a season. How Texas wins: Run the ball and shut down Cam Skattebo. The Texas pass defense was gashed by Clemson at times, giving up three passing TDs after surrendering only four all season, but without Jordyn Tyson, the Sun Devils might not have enough weapons to keep spreading out the nation's best pass defense. If Texas can contain Skattebo (in the passing game, too) and feed its own running backs behind a strong offensive line, the Longhorns can stifle the Sun Devils and milk the clock while making them play from behind.
  19. Nancy, so alarmed at your prognosis. Hoping your health improves substantially soon. 🀘🏻🀘🏼🀘🀘🏽🀘🏾🀘🏿
  20. At Love, hopefully! 🀘🏻🏈🀘🏼🏈🀘🏈🀘🏽🏈🀘🏾🏈🀘🏿
