  1. I don't like Vinson's demeanor at all in this game.
  2. I have no problem with Shedrick on an open fast break but that looked like either a discontinued or double dribble. I don't think they call those tightly any more.
  3. Please keep posting for those of us who do not have access to ESPN+. Is the entire UT squad healthy?
  4. In car appreciating your commentary. Thanx.
  5. Will OU be able to field a team of scholarship players against Navy? I know that I shouldn't feel sorry for them but I do. Unless this is a tough love move from Venables it is an awful implosion for a P4 team to suffer. I do want our rivalry to continue to mean what it has over the years, while wanting Texas to beat OU like a drum every October. They have to be very good for beating them to feel great.
  6. We saw QE reshape his body after his first season here. Went from a pudgy 215 to a muscular 205 or so. There was a photo of him bare chested after his transformation, along with the other QBs. If I can find it I will post it. MM looked like a TE among the QBs in the photo. MM can stay in the ACC while playing for a California team next season. Seems weird. SEC is the only P4 conference that is geographically contiguous now. Which reminds me: Wazzu and Oregon St are attempting to revive a PAC by taking the top end of the Mountain West. Following the 2025-26 academic season, the Pac-12 will expand to include Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, San Diego State and Utah State in football as well as Gonzaga in men’s and women’s basketball and other league-sponsored sports. The collective eight universities will continue to collaboratively chart additional membership and other future conference considerations. The strongest G6 might be a landing spot for MM, as well, football wise, but if he wants to continue his academic journey Texas to Duke to Cal or Stanford sounds good. -
  7. NMSt is the level of patsy Texas should be playing.
  8. Announcer indicated Kent was dressed out in uniform.
  9. While ragged, the team did move the ball around without their three best players on the floor. A sign they are being correctly coached.
  10. mores /môr′āz″, -ēz/ noun plural The accepted traditional customs and usages of a particular social group. Moral attitudes. Manners; ways.
  11. I am sure that his mores are better than his moves
  12. When I was 16 I was 6-2 170 and could grab the rim. I could push my baseball glove over the rim and sort of dunk a baseball. At 81, I am now 5-11+ with an 8" vertical.
  13. I used to have a rudder. Larry has made two nice assists underneath. We could have used that headiness by him against UCONN.
  14. The Utah punter is not a mere altitude statistic. In Orlando, against UCF: UTE - Punting Player Punts Yds. Avg. Long In. 20 TB 50+ Yds. Bouwmeester,Jack 7 323 46.1 62 3 0 1
  15. Most of the guys ahead of him are GONE next season. Assuming PT is his motive he must have been told that Texas expects to bring in at least two MORE DTs in the portal who will be expected to be ahead of him. Assuming that message from the staff and the level of confidence it would signify, it makes me think they know who and what they are getting.
  16. I don't understand why he is leaving.
  17. I really thought he would be a star. I don't know squat.
  18. MM says he is still developing as a QB and he did learn OTJ this season. I think a Duke degree would leave footprints outside of football and I hope that he is actually graduating this December, but I suspect that he is not. He needs a good QB coach at a program that wants a pro style passer. That probably exists closer to his home in California. Reportedly, he is a good guy and I wish him well [except against the good guys].
  19. I assume MM is going to USC or another west coast team that wants a drop back QB. He had a good year at Duke and got better during it. Hope he knows whst he is doing and is getting a good QB coach because he is still not a fininshed product. Duke was a good school from which to have had a degree. I don't suppose he has one. Sucks for Duke.
  20. He seems a bigger back [wider body] than the ones on campus and 7 YPC in the B1G is something to note.
  21. Was hoping Gullette would play up to his athleticism after recovery from his injury at Texas, but I wish him well wherever he goes, except against the good guys.
