  1. Oregon and AZ St making PAC look good. Oh, wait, PAC?
  2. #73. LT. He is just overwhelming in HS even when he is standing up. However, he does know how to get low so it will just be a matter of shedding a bad habit, I think. There is one clip where he takes out two defenders from two different directions in rapid succession. Most of the other clips are of him bull rushing and destroying a couple of guys in front of him.
  3. 19 MPH? That is almost unbelievable.
  4. Are you counting on Bolden using his COVID year to get him a fifth year of playing time? This is actually his fifth year in college. Next season would be his sixth.
  5. Nails all night great shooter and misses FT badly in the clutch
  6. More dumb ball handling by Tre. I am not sold on his maturation process
  7. After dumb one on five he hits an open three
  8. Weaver to Kaluma on the break was excellent.
  9. I think he discontinued his dribble and it wasnt called
  10. If Onyema and Kaden must be on the floor togethr it might work best with both Larry and Pope on the floor as well, The ball might keep moving that way.
  11. Onyema and Shedrick together were better than I expected. They may have to work on that.
  12. Tre lost his man open for that three in the corner. Was playing one man zone nowhere, Freshman error.
  13. Looking at Weaver's eyes on that foul shot he may have a head cold. Eyes all red.
  14. The inside pass to Kaden. Yes.
  15. Have you been watching MD against tOSU? I just turned it on after dinner and found that MD is up 33 at half time.
  16. I watched Bama lose to Oregon the other day. Bama plays VERY fast. Oregon stayed with them and shot just a tiny bit better. That game was played in Las Vegas. Oregon has a 7' Center, a white guy who is a solid scorer and rebounder and a pretty good athlete. Nate Bittle. He has led the way for the Ducks who are currently undefeated. Apparently the road to all B1G men's revenue sport titles runs through Eugene.
  17. You are correct. The invitation shows the address. Just a couple blocks from the Stadium, downtown.
  18. Very interesting. Thanks.
  19. Question - is Wingo 100%? If he is, and Bond is not, Wingo should have 70%+ of the outside snaps. I am sure he knows the playbook by now. I see that he had more snaps than Bond, but the way they played Bond might have been better utilized as an occasional decoy rather than as a primary receiver. Of course if Bond is healthy or Wingo is not then forget I mentioned it.
  20. The depth of the defense at all three levels is stunning. I will be interested in their snap counts. The entire offensive line is very good and may have finally overcome the previous tendency for costly drive killing penalties. I assume that Wingo now knows the entire play book and can take the majority of snaps that would have been allocated to a fully healthy Bond. Considering the number of 12 and 21 sets Texas runs, it would not be an imperative to rely on Bond, in any event. I am assuming that Texas will have to run the ball effectively again next week. If Tre's stud iron man effort has left him understandably depleted I can only hope that Georgia's 8 OTs against Tech has collectively taken more out of the Dogs. I think the two third quarter turnovers were more a product of high level defensive play than not. One came on a tipped pass and the other came on a hammer of a strip from behind. These were not self inflicted in the sense of a lame duck pass or a ball held like a loaf of bread in one hand by a RB about to get hit by a ton of bricks. There will only be high level defenses against Texas during the Second Season.
  21. A good kid who would have been our third string QB had a decent year. Murphy led Duke to 9-3 and threw 26 TDs during the season. He admitted that he still had a lot to learn, but he will have a bowl game and two more seasons to reach his potential at Duke. And even if he had remained here to learn from Sark he never would have become a starter absent injuries to others. I think we all liked him here and continue to wish him well against everyone but Texas.
  22. So if both Penn State and Indiana lose their final games Ohio State backs into the B1G title game, right? Oregon can lose to the Dubs and they are still in the B1G title game, right? And all four will be in the Playoff, right? Any damned thing can happen this season.
