  1. Tre Wisner 5 yard TD run
  2. Post a picture of Baxter at the scrimmage without his knee brace. That would be exciting.
  3. True. An advantage we have is that Arch is mobile and Sayin is not. The could be big if the OLs are not ready. tOSU’s other QB is mobile but a limited passer.
  4. Apparently, Texas did not push because on his visit we saw that he was not as big as advertised. We viewed him as a split out TE, not someone who could help in the run game. That’s what was said anyway
  5. Outside of WR and Safety, tOSU has significantly less talent this year. Just look at RB, they went from Henderson/Judkins to Peoples (who didn’t have a committable offer from Texas) and Donaldson (a W Va back); they went from a 5th year QB to a freshman. I’m feeling better about the game.
  6. Ahead of Max Clare too; surprising given all the handwringing when we didn’t go all in on him. My money is on Stowers though.
  7. Majors and Connors were both screeners as blockers, they never got any actual push. Umeozulu and Hutson will be physical and push someone back, I just hope that it is the right someone.
  8. If the 2025 OL “holds serve”, the run run blocking will still be better; it is the pass blocking communication that may suffer.
  9. I was listening to Rod B’s podcast this morning and came away optimistic that our redzone problems are fixed for 2025. Each of the problems Rod identified from the last couple of years have been corrected. 1. OL not “bullies” - Majors and Connor replaced with better run blockers in Umeozulu and Hutson. 2. RBs not inside runners - Instead of Wisner and Blue in the redzone, we have Baxter, Gibson, Clark and Simon. We will be running more gap scheme and inside zone as opposed to outside zone which Wisner and Blue were better at. While we had Gibson last year (and he was our best redzone runner), he was a true freshman who hadn’t figured out ball security. Hopefully, that has changed with a year of seasoning. Sark has been great in the redzone with the proper RB. 3. QB undersized and not mobile - Arch definitely cures that. Arch had an 80% redzone TD rate in 2024. He is big enough to sneak the ball and mobile enough where the defense must account for him in the run/scramble game. 4. Sideshow Burt - while we want TDs, our kicker won’t miss chip shots. 5. Turnovers - remember the aTm game where two TOs in the redzone changed the complexion of the game? This one is to be determined, but I don’t see Arch fumbling on slides or making lazy throws to the perimeter.
  10. Not being sarcastic, but let us know what the “sharps” do the week before the game. I’d be interested in that.
  11. Have to include someone from the BMW team, probably Travis Mays
  12. 5 out of seven. I think we can get 5 for 5 from this 2026 class if we get these five
  13. Ojo, Lee and Turntine to go with Wright and Robertson = better than the 2022 class
  14. Roseborough is replaceable, Ojo is not. Easy decision.
  15. Bobby has been adamant that we won’t go over 85 scholarships in 2026 but Sark is offering like we will take 25-30 this recruiting cycle.
  16. Dronnett, tough, mean and a leader on a truly great defense (until they ran into Miami)
  17. Terry is from a tiny town in Georgia without a modern weight room. What you see is natural, country strength. He has already put on 15 pounds in three months with a college strength and conditioning program. He will play at over 300 pounds at DT in 2026. This year, he will play strong side end and some DT in the NASCAR package.
  18. Landry is probably a “both” rather than “defense”. While he played defense and was the DC for the Giants, he called plays for Dallas, reinvented the Shotgun and pioneered motion.
  19. The “lack of commitment” report may or may not be true. However, the same thing was said about Ewers in the Spring of 2022 and it was apparently correct. Ewers was initially not doing what he needed to do to master his position. He realized that and put in the work in the Spring of 2023 to become a team leader. The point is, things can change. There is no doubt though that Owens already has a battle on his hands with Lacey.
  20. Maybe Orphey can help
  21. I’d be happy with Crowell and KJ Edwards
  22. Until Cojoe shows something on the field, I have to view him a Tope Imadi level player, great physical attribute but hasn’t put it together.
  23. when RT is fired? Does the new coach keep Ogden around or bring in his own guy? The GM is essential to building a college basketball team, especially with the Portal opening in a few days. The 2025-26 Texas team will be a complete rebuild, we lose every one of consequence.
