If that's the case, then I don't agree with the sentiments to get the running game going this week. We should push the throttle down even further with tempo and short passes to start and attacking down the field later. I'm confident we'll score points, it's the other side of the ball that worries me in that game. Gunnar Stockton hasn't been sacked much this year and our secondary is very shaky right now with Taffe and McDonald banged up. We can't count on Guillbeau and Littleton to shutdown their assignments all game. Wouldn't be surprised if it takes 32+ pts to win this game.

The girls looks good. We got shooters everywhere with Lee, Crump, Booker, and Preston. I would like to see Rory shoot more though. She didn't look for her shot the entire game.

The million dollar question for me right now is what would the ceiling be for this season if Quinn wasn’t chased out to an extent versus what we know of Arch now? Do you think Quinn could take this OL and offense to the playoffs? I have a hard time believing Arch can develop enough this season to get us there but Im not 100% sure Quinn could either with this OL. It will be a bad look for Sark and this staff if Arch ends up being a bust. Let’s hope that’s not the case.

Commitments are soft these days with NIL. If we decide to adjust our NIL strategy and take more of a risky approach regarding the house settlement, then we'll flip a number of guys in the fall. Things seem to always fall in our favor every November/December so I'm expecting the same this year.

This looks eerily like the WR situation last year. I hope it pans out the same but Chad Scott so far is not the recruiter Tashard Choice was.

Exactly. He’s too reigned in and cautious with this version of Quinn. He threw the ball 85 yds in air out of high school. Even just the “get serious” change of haircut showed this arc which looking back might have been actually detrimental to him.

People forget his arm strength. We used to refer to his arm as a golden arm. He just relies too much on wrist flick right now. I think Quinn could use a body language coach seriously. What he thinks is being calm is perceived as being lethargic and energyless which is fair. People don’t gravitate to that. It hurt me watching Quinn’s reaction. I think it’s the first time I’ve felt that I was seeing his true emotion and not a chilled out shell. Never seen him so hurt and I hope it ignites something great in him. McDaniel is a perfect successor as a mentor for Quinn. He knows that Miami offense already. Just got to tighten up things in the pocket and let it rip.
