    If Texas is going win a Natty. Sark. must expand our variety of coaches and consultants. We not.only need to have ties to Georgia, Florida and Louisiana and at home in Texas but it is time we have significant leadership that has RECENT ties to the BIG TEN, FCS, and HBCUs. We can no longer be so arrogant as to think our staff and players must come from the same traditional sources they have in the past.  And Finally, we must begin to seriously recruit internationally! We need to lead in this effort, not follow! We need 105 people on our roster and we can develop talent! We'll portal. We need to look at junior colleges (heaven forbid). We're BlueBloods and people want to be part of a BlueBlood program, so let's evaluate potential and find Michael Taafes and others like him. Some have size and physical attributes.  Others are smart, intuitive,  and possess a different set of skills and mind for the game. All of which help to produce a great team. Big Humans and. Skilled people are important,  but indiana just proved heart and culture are also very, very important to winning.  Hook Em!

    Trinity Chambliss, Diego Pavia, Michael Taafe, were all no bodies till they were game changers! I don't see Texas looking for these players. They accidentally come our way every so often but we are TEXAS. We have the staff to scout the entire country, the FBS, FCS, the junior colleges and find guys who can play and stay in the classroom. We have resources, tutors, and we know how to polish and develop skills. Oh we brought in the guy from Big Sky Country and UTSA, but we haven't mined the HBCUs. Here is where those lineman and slot receivers to be discovered. We have always had a disdain for junior college transfers. Kansas State built their program around these players and gave us a run for our money for years! Go after the blue blood aces, but at the same time drill down and discover the next Taafe, Chambliss, and get our incoming freshmen ready. Let Cooper loose. Let someone fly. Sign some some depth for special teams. It is not going to be easy but there are òver 4000 candidates out there. Indiana knows how to do it. So should we. Hook Em!

    Bond will not be drafted because of his legal issues. Quinn won't be drafted because of his medical history. Jake is only one who has a chance now.

    U T can do anything it sets its mind on... however, I think we need to hire the young up and coming coach from Division 2 or Historic Black College ranks. Someone who can spot and develop talent that others over look. We need someone with vision AND character. In other words... a winner.

    It's interesting that Texas is favored to win it all on some sites but isn't favored to win the Cotton Bowl against whoever... this would be a home adjacent game for the Horns! It's like Atlanta for Georgia. Needless to say, it's schizophrenic to predict for us overall and against near term in our own backyard. Bevo will dump on that. And The Horns will stomp on that. Hook Em!

    Nobody in the SEC wants to see UT... sorry Tennessee, win in their first year. A&M has never even been to the SEC Championship Game much less win it and they had a decade headstart. Arkansas had over a quarter of a century. And at least Tennessee won a national championship... in 98 but they last won the SEC in 1989... I didn’t have my flip phone or AOL yet. Lol.

    Thr OL's most important week is this off week. It is also Ewers most significant week. The OL needs to figure out how to block the blitzes. And Ewers needs recognize them, RELAX, and throw to the hot receiver. And everyone learn what the officials are considering a holding call against Texas... at least... and and watch yourselves.... the SEC is outto get you... lol... just ask Kirby Smart!

    Hey guys, we're in bowl. We get to take a bus ride! Going to San Antonio is a destination trip for other teams, but not for the Horns! The Big 12 bowl contracts were boring destinations.
