Deep in the heart

Interesting looking at it like that. Wish he wasn't such a liability in the run and screen game.

This!

I just think OTF would provide a much better evaluation product than IT because I don't think Justin Wells leaves the state. And with OTF having a bigger footprint, the national guys would get better info. Hell, I'm not sure how much he leaves East Texas. Justin is a good guy, but his analysis of players we recruit are no where near as informed as Gerry's because he actually goes to see players practice. That's dedication to your craft. And that's what separates OTF from the others is the dedication everyone here has to their craft.

Yes it was. Those threads will forever go down in infamy. Instant classics!

@Bobby Burton With you guys growing miles away since splitting from Inside Texas, will you ever look at getting connected with a national recruiting platform like Rivals? I'm sure the national guys would benefit from the work you guys do here more so than what Inside Texas provides. I don't know how the politics of all that works. Or if it would even be of any benefit to what you guys are doing. I was just asking because this is by far the best Texas site in the industry and there isn't a close second.

Welcome all. Like I told Jordan and Hank when they first came on, don't let the Portal House of Horrors scare you away when portal season opens up. Awesome work @Bobby Burton! You are definitely a great human being for giving these guys this opportunity!

It seems like our OLine does a lot of catching instead of driving off the ball. They automatically get into a pass blocking set on run plays so it prevents them from getting any push. It's almost as if they are walling them off instead of trying to displace them. That's a technical problem. Our receivers, Coleman especially, are providing nothing in the run game. Great thread @Jeff Howe!

This is exactly the answer but Sark is too busy trying to be OC. He talks about culture but it's hard to do when you can't chew gum and walk at the same time. He needs an OC so he can focus on those types of things.

The blood clots were caused from complications from toe surgery he had because of his toe issues during his career. Dislocated toe and turf toe.

I thought it was complications from turf toe. I know he had issues with that throughout his career. Thanks for the correction.

And it's what caused Deion to have his toe removed. Turf toe is no joke. I used to get gout attacks in my toes and it hurts like a mug. You don't realize how much not being able to bend your big toe affects your life.

I'm going to keep hope alive and stay with my usual pick and go with Jonah Williams.

Honestly, I feel that's the only way OU has a chance to win this game is by a defensive score or ST score.

Mook is one of my all time favorite Horn. There needs to be a movie about his story.

I appreciate all the hard work you put in Gerry. You definitely are putting miles on your ride to give us in person access. Have a Chik-Fil-A spicy chicken and waffles for me!
