  1. McCollum would be taking a massive leap to the SEC. We are in win now mode. He brought a lot of his D2 guys with him and maxes out their minutes. He’s proven he can win at each stop. Is it worth taking a risk after taking a risk(Terry)? Does he know how to pick the right guys in the portal and maximize their potential? No because he hasn’t had to do it at the SEC level. So it’s our hope that he can. I want the guy that has shown he can do it. That’s where we get into just how much money Texas will spend.
  2. That would be hard to do considering pretty much every top coach has already been mentioned.
  3. I missed the Mississippi State game to go to dinner with friends. Never done that before. I went to watch the boys state finals yesterday, because I thought this would happen.
  4. He’s a top five pick, but I get what you are saying.
  5. Take a look at their sneakers. If Texas had sneakers like that theirs no telling what they could do.
  6. You could hear Georgia blasting DMX after they won here.
  7. That was one god awful year.
  8. I would hope he does. Lunardi may be telling him this. It’s the announcers calling the games that I don’t pay attention to. In every conference tournament a case is made for a team on the bubble.
  9. Not a shot him, but I don’t think he does near the research, you and Bierce do.
  10. We had a coach with energy. Shaka jumped all over the place.
  11. It’s ridiculous they are above Texas. Does a loss to Texas knock them out? Barring a couple of wins in the conference tournament?
  12. The man boobs will keep me from attending the Texas game.
  13. Love seeing it too, but I have been in or around Austin my whole life.
  14. I actually didn’t watch the game last night. First time in thirty years that has happened. Fortunately I watched this morning. Pretty sure Pryor’s lack of playing time had to do with Mark having some flashbacks to last year at Arkansas. He’s been injured too, so that could play into it as well. That’s what he was brought here to do. Fans are so busy criticizing RT they have failed to realize just how little Mark and Pope have done this year. If he or Pope could consistently give Texas fifteen points a game then Texas would be in most games. What’s odd is Mark had such a good game despite not practicing for three days. Texas does not have a point guard. It’s why I have been suggesting it be Tre. Kaluma is struggling with his shot because he has been playing on one leg for a while now. He’s still rebounding and make some fifteen foot shots. He will deliver that every game. So if Pope or Mark could get it going on the wing Texas could win some games. My goodness RT knows how to beat a 2-2-1. He also knows how to inbound a pass too.The fact that these kids look that bad, in all honestly is on the coach. It was comical watching that. Another I have noticed during the year is some of these players get rattled real easy. Not a good thing.
  15. “IDGAF” despite this you keep coming over to comment.
  16. I am at let’s see if they play with effort against OU. And you’re right. It’s not saving the coaches job. Fans can actually hope they make the tournament. Oh well, as you said back to the bubble.
  17. Who said he isn’t? It’s called the bubble thread. Simply talking about Texas chances of getting in the tournament.
  18. We have a heartbeat. Who knows what team shows up against OU. Texas has no point guard. Tre should bring the ball up. If Texas could just get Pope or Mark to get 15 or more they can win.
  19. Few is a no brainer three years ago. Now I would prefer a younger coach. I am going to support whoever it is but he is not at the top of my wish list.
  20. I am actually interested in what happens if Drew goes to Indiana and McCasland heads to Baylor. It gets even more interesting if Bill Self steps down for health reasons.
  21. If it’s 6-8 years then older candidates should be considered as well.
