  1. So ok for you to make judgments. Gotcha. And I have no clue on the moral superiority of other coaches. Then again, that’s not the issue at hand. But I appreciate those who keep their names out of the police blotter for choking their girlfriends.
  2. You seem to be casting “judgement” that Brard should be retained.
  3. You seem to be trusting Beard. Try harder.
  4. I trust our AD’s and administration’s judgement on the matter over yours. That’s for sure. You seem to have a “he wins basketball games, let’s look the other way” attitude here. That may work at Ole Miss or other **** schools in third world states, but not here.
  5. Employers are not subject to the same burden of evidence as criminal courts. Are you that dense or just being obtuse?
  6. You mean when the victim changed her tune after her attorneys spoke with the perpetrator’s?
  7. Or, they had a situation where a high profile, highly paid employee who, based on their investigation, committed domestic violence, and fired him for cause. I don’t know what politics would have created a different outcome.

  9. So how do you know if they’re forgivable or not? Or what the appropriate penance is?
  10. Did Beard admit his transgression, then seek help and forgiveness? Last I checked one admitted their sins to order to seek forgiveness.
  11. Rodney’s rehab for off the court transgressions isn’t what I was discussing. Sadly, it appears you’re in deep need of clarification.
  12. Sark’s path to becoming a head coach again took 6 years. Does that clarify things for you?
  13. You asked why Sark deserved a second chance. I answered. This isn’t hard. Don’t make it so.
  14. He deserved another chance after entering rehab, performing well with two different employers and staying sober.
  15. Employment is not subject to criminal law standards.
  16. Pretty overwhelming evidence he assaulted his girlfriend.
  17. Are they as revealing as those towards Mackovic, Brown, Herman and Pierce?
  18. CDC has already done the private school thing. Our budget is more than Rice, TCU and SMU combined. You could probably throw Baylor in that pool too.
  19. The original was just outside of downtown and at least when I was going there (late 70s/early 80s) was more of an icehouse than grocery. I heard they opened another in Bellaire but that was long after I left the area.
  20. Lankford's?
  21. Probably the best yielding class in recent memory. Even the busts (Wilkerson, Houston) were spectacular!
  22. Houston until UT, moved to NYC after grad school. Been up this way for nearly 40 years.
  23. Giving a guy support does not mean absolving him of his actions.
  24. That was a symptom, not an outcome.
