    My take would be to avoid the obvious. And outside of Kiffin, who’s the obvious? Go for the rising coordinator or G5 guy and roll the dice.

    I don’t think Arch enters in to the calculus one bit. If Sark wants a shot at the NFL he’ll go for it. If he wants to stay at the college level, he stays.

    Outside of “I ordered the Code Red” there’s not a lot a coach can say at a presser that gets him fired. Especially banal coach speak.

    I think it all comes down to the O line. If they can get the right five going they will be ok. Funny that was Stroh last night and Brooks against OU.

    What I saw was Miss St using play action far more effectively than prior teams we faced.

    If LSU can get a plus hire ( shouldn’t be too difficult), I wouldn’t count on a lot of flips.

    I saw it as a quick hitting play. The defender didn’t lead with the crown. Taaffe would’ve been thrown out of several games had this guy gotten tossed under that standard.
