  1. To have a prayer of making the tournament this team must start building momentum like what a road win today could do. That’s a big “if”.
  2. Football 2024 is dead to me. Have not read a single article on that game or even thought about it. Our last game to me was the championship and we blew it so looking forward to next season.
  3. Didn’t realize Gaston transferred to Auburn. Thought she graduated.
  4. Glad I went to bed when we were way up. Out of sight out of mind.
  5. Arch has his head on well and I suspect will tune this out and just play. The accolades will take care of themselves in time.
  6. Quinn will go down as one of our best QB's in Texas history.
  7. Helluva season that came up short but still great year. They made a couple more plays and earned it. The Arch era starts now. We need to get better on offense and keep building. Proud of the fight this team showed.
  8. Bevo is treated better than most humans. Some people are so ignorant they are of no practical good.
  9. PETA: People eating tasty animals?
  10. This Texas team vs Auburn reminds me of us vs one of our weak non conference opponents. We look totally out manned and disjointed.
  11. Ewers is usually nails. Very accurate passer, clutch. Just look at the throws he made in tight windows. Look how he has performed in most big game situations. He is calm in the storm and his team feeds off that. Having said that he is not perfect. A bit slow-footed, nervous in traffic at times which I think is because of his injuries, injury prone and not consistently accurate on the deep balls. He has some short comings but few don’t and he is growing still with his best football ahead of him. Sark has a certain style of offense and things he wants to do that at times don’t play to Ewers strengths and stretch him. Quinn is not his ideal fit..but he still has been dang successful. The real rate limiting step is our O Line and running game. We really miss a true power back like Baxter. Ewers has delivered in his time on the 40, big time and I love his character. He is our QB1 so let’s get behind him and hope his next games are his best and deliver us the big prize.
  12. Quinn was nails. Get real. Problem is we often try to put a square peg in a round hole with our play calling .
  13. That link leaves little unsaid about Aggie.
  14. No way Banks falls to second round.
  15. Yep you do. You get all written articles and other info here for your subscription. It is what it is. If you are just after the pod casts only then you may be better off just going YouTube Premium.
  16. I have YouTube premium, no Ads.
  17. Padding the win total while they can I guess. 362 out of 364, It doesn't get much worse than that.
  18. Serious type of cancer which sounds like it was either bile duct cancer (cholangiocarcinoma) or pancreatic cancer. Had a stent placed with biopsy to make the diagnosis first and provide internal drainage, then had a Whipple surgery to remove the tumor and reroute the area. The fact that he was even a candidate to have that surgery means they may have caught it early but still very serious situation.
  19. Congrats to the girls on getting this far.
  20. Yes, he has and he can but it also depends on the opposition team's pass rush and coverage speed. Yesterday I wish Sark had stayed with the short, quick high percentage pass though and continued to nickel and dime that Georgia defense as their team speed and rush was tough down there in the deep red. Going for too much all at once put us behind the chains and allowed time for their rush to pressure him.
  21. Agree he hurt us but I lay this blame on poor offensive execution really much of the last few games. Penalties, turn overs, drops etc. No way we should lose when Georgia scores 16 points. We need to play clean ball.
  22. It’s crunch time with lots of irons in the fire. There is naturally some strain from all these things occurring at one time I suspect on him and those around him. He is amazing in being able to handle all that is going on with leading his staff and team through championship times while dealing simultaneously with peak time in recruiting high school and portal. It’s a time where even the very best leaders and managers have to let go a bit, delegate and trust their staff. It’s also a time that one must continue to cling to their spiritual program. To be honest, I am praying for him right now for protection, peace, strength and wisdom.
  23. Only two of the top 13 are still there.
  24. Glass Jo is pretty spot on. Recruit the best out of high school and fill in spots with the portal. It is what we have been doing and is working well as long as you skillfully do it like Sark and staff have been doing to keep your culture where you want it. Be competitive in the NIL realm but don't be crazy in spending way over market value. You also must develop your players to the max when they are here and let them know their value will pay off if they stay with the program. Respectfully and honestly communicating well with your players and sending double digit guys to the NFL every year demonstrates that loud and clear.
