Enjoy coffee n football length especially when getting ready in the morning. During the day would appreciate much shorter segments (no more than 15 minutes? Since I don’t have much free time during the day to listen) after hours—the longer segments with Rod, Coach Shipley, CJ , and Jeff are pretty entertaining.

I don’t know…maybe because of how the 2023 CFP ended with Michigan* perfect season as National Champion , Indiana’s 2025 season seems just too perfect also. I admit to a fair amount of skepticism, but if Indiana was able to cheat the system fairly, then good on them. Congratulations

On a day like today (Sunday January 11,2026) it’s worth mentioning: Alabama, smarting from their loss to Texas in men’s Basketball…today lost their high prospect in Cam Coleman to Texas…and 45 minutes later Alabama lost their high end RB Hollywood Smothers to Texas. (I know how they feel…like 2 yrs ago it seemed Oregon was taking all Texas high prospects/commits)

Regarding Indiana and their lack of 5 star athletes and the least amount of 4 stars in the playoffs: Gerry has said many times that stars vary across the board and shouldn’t mean as much as true evaluations . Unless I misquoted Gerry, I tend to believe Gerry’s statement. Give him a corn dog with mayo!

I’ve said this before. Livingstone didn’t get any offer from OU. Texas took a chance on him even though he was recovering from a season ending injury. Texas developed him as a WR (his words), had success within Sark’s circle of trust. Can’t ignor the stardust and national attention he received by catching for Arch. after all this, he ask for $$$—Texas tried to meet him in the middle, but he chose to walk, telling the world he had no other choice because he was forced out. the fact that he committed to OU is almost a betrayal given what Texas gave him at a time when OU wouldn’t even give him the time of day. I will brace myself when I see him do the horns down— because I now know he’s capable of it. 2026 River Rivalry will be epic. Can’t wait to see Livingstone eat grass against a Muschamp led defense. Texas took a chance on Livingstone. I recall during his senior high recruitment, Livingstone sustained a knee injury requiring surgery, which ended his season. Fast forward and after some development from Texas, Parker becomes an elite WR catching for Arch—that added much stardust to his public exposure that can’t be denied. I can’t know what Parker is thinking leaving a Sark/ Arch led Natty-bound 2026 team for more money elsewhere. Whatever his reasons, I wish him the best. Hook’em

Post Cheezit Michigan presser… it was a bit irritating how the Michigan HC kept emphasizing how QB Underwood was just a 1st year QB while Arch Manning was a 3 year QB at Texas so of course Manning would perform better. No one corrected him. Did everyone forget that this was just Arch’s 1st year as QB1??
