  1. Highly ranked Texas lost to OU last year. Unexpected and the way Texas lost was a stomach churner. Don’t eat the rat poison.
  2. Sark should play reels on how Alabama lost to Vandy. Hope it inspires the team to keep self inflicted wounds to a minimum OU will try to play keep away—hope Sark has an answer for this
  3. Jeanty is a shoe in for Doake award…and now a front runner for heisman thanks to what happened Week 6 in CFB
  4. Arch is light years better than he was in high school—a scary thought. Kudos to Sark and Milwee for carefully developing him during his redshirt year and beyond.
  5. Pavia will be like Gabriel and do college football for 7 yrs.
  6. Vanderbilt had 48 min possession vs Alabama 18 min. In the 18 minutes Alabama had the ball they scored 35 points. Texas needs to find an answer for Vanderbilt
  7. Can’t convince me that an effective run heavy offense can beat top tier teams…
  8. Is run heavy offense the key to beating top tier teams?!?!?
  9. QB Pavia is not to be ignored. Would like Gerry’s take on this guy—how he did on recruiting evals before committing to new mexico
  10. Unbelievable outcomes. Is Texas number 1 again? Doesn’t matter. I only care if Texas is number 1 at the end of the season with the players holding the Natty Hook’em

  12. Glad Tsweat is being noticed. Staying one more year at Texas really raised his draft stock. I miss him and Murphy. Tho. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C6853RZu52k/?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
  13. Red River at the cotton bowl is different. Never take it for granted. last year Texas came to the cotton bowl undefeated. We had a pretty intact team. Yet Texas lost to OU. this year Texas again comes to the cotton bowl undefeated, but pretty thin on RBs. OU is like a rabid wounded animal trying to survive. One game at a time, Texas needs to bring their best game. Period.
  14. I had a flashback during the ULM game when We noticed Blue carrying the ball a lot more than usual. It reminded us of 2022–a very young and Green QB with happy feet named Ewers who was calmed down by Sark by giving a lot of the snaps to a Star RB by the name of Bijon Robinson. Nearly brought tears (sentimental happy tears) to my eyes.

  15. Opposing Teams and their coaches obviously don’t want Texas in the playoffs let alone win. One way to attack Texas is to attack Quinn and affect his mental game. As much as I love Arch, I hope Quinn comes back 100% very soon.
  16. Can’t help but think that Sark tried hard these past 2 years to protect Arch from all the hype. Now that the Genie’s out of the bottle, I can see even Sark can’t shield Arch as much now that Ewers is injured and Arch is starting a game.
  17. Now I know why a lot of QBs didn’t want to commit in the 2024 recruit class. But it seems Trey Owens has the moxy to compete for Qb2 behind Arch…
  18. There’s a reason why Tennessee hasn’t given up many points so far—they have a pretty balanced team—including a very good defense. Which makes this game very intriguing to watch…I think this game will give Texas an idea how OU is this season
  19. Good job foretelling the future Gerry! (Except the part about Ewers getting injured, you did pretty good )
  20. Guess this makes up for the easy schedule OU had last year before joining the SEC…
  21. I had to remind myself that Arch is only 19 years old…amazing talent, and an even more amazing human being.
  22. I’ll be interested to see how Tennessee performs vs OU. I have no doubt OU will probably lose…but by how much? Tennessee clearly has the better offense, and I think Tennessee will know how to handle Venables defense, given who Tennessee’s head coach is.
  23. Is this an indictment on development of quarterbacks in CFB?? On the other hand, development of QBs by Sark and Longhorns and Ewers staying another year just got some credibility???
