  1. If Georgia loses to Georgia tech who gets to go the SEC playoffs against winner of Texas v. Texas A&M?
  2. Would love to have C4 and other Longhorns out for the season due to injury as guests on OTF. Would like to see them and mainly get reassurance that they’re doing ok. Hook’em
  3. They’re assuming Hill will probably get the prize next year as an upperclassman…no other explanation if you simply look at this season’s stats. Hill deserves to be a finalist Expect Hill to show up with explosive performances at Texas v AtM. Hook’em
  4. MRI on Quinn’s ankle says mild sprain. I don’t care how you splice it or dice it—Quinn was looking like it was more than a mild sprain. With this injury, how much real time will Quinn be practicing with the team this week??? AtM will be massively pressuring Quinn next weekend—they’re desperate to stay alive for CFP. Hope Sark has an answer…
  5. We’ll never know the full story behind Johntay’s exit. One thing for sure—Sark has said on record, once a player leaves the team…there is no path back to the team. So let’s wish the best for Johntay and leave the rest for others (not Texas fans) to think about. We have bigger fish to fry. Hook’em
  6. Who is better? Texas Defense or a healthy AtM Offense?
  7. He looks like the Jack Nicholson character in “The Shining”
  8. Would like to see Texas beat Georgia in a rematch only to prove to critics that Texas can make it to Playoffs and compete for the national title. unfortunately Quinn’s injury may once again be a factor in getting a decisive win.
  9. Gonna throw this one in…with Alabama’s loss against OU, Milroe leaving, failure to make playoffs, QB commit flipping from Bama…will Ryan Williams go into the portal and perhaps join former HS teammate KJ Lacey at Texas??
  10. Aggies playoff hopes are still alive pending next week’s game vs Texas.
  11. We all know what the right thing to do would be. Most of these players have representatives who can communicate for them…but these players are also 18-19 year olds with dollar signs placed in front of them. For some players, they won’t care if they told their committed colleges or not—it’s just business.
  12. J Terry seemed all in for Georgia in interviews…but for sure his commitment to Texas would be a huge surprise
  13. It just boggles the mind: OU beat Alabama handily Auburn beat AtM Florida beat Ol’ Miss I am beyond shocked. Texas v AtM will be huge…but Quinn is hurt! Is it possible that Texas’s fate may lie in the hands of Arch Manning?!? If not against AtM, but perhaps SEC championship and/or playoffs?!?!? I love Quinn and he deserves to lead this team to a national title bid…but he’s not 100% right now…what a crazy crazy situation!!!! Finally…with OU’s smack down of Alabama…will this convince Fasusi to stay with OU????
  14. Extra $$$ available now that their QB recruit flipped to Michigan. Such is the world of NIL. No longer just about which team will be good for his career/development…it’s also about who is willing to give him the best $$$ for his talent
  15. This game is why I, as a fan has been harping on Ewers inconsistency. If he brings “Michigan Quinn” then Texas will win easily over ATM. If he brings “Arkansas Quinn” then kiss 11-1 goodbye (assuming Texas beats Kentucky). And perhaps CFP will be gone too for failing the eye test with the committee.
  16. Is Bama’s loss to Vandy considered a good loss then?? if so, then wouldn’t Texas’s loss to Georgia be considered a good loss too? Is this a situation where the CFB committee would look at resume schedules if Texas loses to ATM?
  17. Is there a path where Texas can go to playoffs without having to compete for SEC championship? An intriguing thought…
  18. Too many times it seems like Ewers doesn’t wake up until after the 3d quarter…it’s as if he took gummies before the game and it wore off at the beginning of the 3d quarter! (Just to be sure—I’m not accusing anyone of taking gummies before a game—)
  19. I just watched the highlights of that game. That was pretty rough. Texas needs to minimize self-inflicted penalties, control the run, score big in order to leave no doubt that Texas belongs in the playoffs
  20. Maybe they’re regretting that decision. Respectfully, please give them their privacy and time to work things out. I wish them all the best.
  21. Thank the elite Oline which gave Quinn time to throw the ball where it needed to go to win the game. Bottom line is this team has the pieces to win the Natty. I think we all know this. This is about needing Quinn to be his best for the grueling games to come
  22. Interesting conversation folks. Appreciate all points of view. Hope you don’t mind me chiming in? Number one—I want Texas to win the Natty. I believe strongly that Texas has the pieces this year to win the whole thing. Number two—yes Quinn was injured. And it allowed me to watch another quarterback who is not only more athletic, but looked extremely polished. Like it or not, something that’s been seen cannot be unseen. Number Three—Texas cannot afford to treat Quinn like an untouchable golden cow (excuse the pun). We can’t allow his injury to be an excuse because we simply have run out of time. Therefore All avenues must be explored in order to achieve the win—including improving Quinn’s technique which in turn will improve his accuracy. Quinn will be placed under duress in the next coming weeks and he needs to be at his best for every game moving forward.
  23. One thing I’ve learned with this conference is never take games for granted. Any given Saturday your team can get an unexpected result. Texas is a really good team and after all these years of hard preparation I really want these boys to at least make the playoffs. Hook’em
  24. Gotta love the Bye Week. It’s been fun playing bystander and watching the carnage at both bye weeks. It’s now time to focus on each remaining game and play for the win. (Hoping QE spent this time healing and gameplanning instead of making more Dr. Pepper commercials—Just sayin) Hook’em
  25. Texas Longhorns need to run the ball…(unfortunately RB room is pretty thin and QB1 has no legs…). Texas needs to find a way to beat Aggies with big blowout…because starting today, Aggies are turning their focus on the Longhorns, hungry for a win to make up for this embarrassing loss
