    Just passing along what I read. See that funny looking mark with a period under it at the end of the first sentence, that's a question mark. You don't know any more than I do.

    I know that last year we didn't improve our O'line from the portal and it hurt us. So far we haven't really improved our O'line from the portal. We need to get that done.

    I keep hearing that Baugh not announcing he's returning to Fla. is good for us. I'm wondering if that could also be true for Goosby not announcing he's returning to us?

    I get what you're saying but dam, Arch Manning had as many catches as Ffrench this year.

    The thing I can't figure out is the freshmen receivers that couldn't get on the field this year. Truly elite HS receivers should have seen some meaningful playing time as college freshmen given that our starters didn't produce at a particularly high level. I guess watching the portal will give us some clues as to what the staff thinks about our freshmen receivers.

    This is true and what makes it worse is when I listen to the people in charge I don’t hear anyone with the brain power to come up with a solution. The only plan seems to be make more money by having more games. The playoffs are already watered down and they want to add more. That doesn’t even take in to account the portal and NIL. Outlook is grim.

    I'm amused that people think the committee is screwing up the process. That is just what committees do. Let the computers pick. As for expansion it has only made things worse. Imagine the committee having to deal with 16, 24, or even as someone suggested 32 teams. The playoffs are watered down with 12 teams, imagine 32. The best 8 teams in football should be in the playoffs. Set the criteria and let the computers pick, adjust if necessary and it will eventually be right. Giving a committee more teams to deal with only brings more chaos.

    Doesn't he run track also? If so I don't think it's smart to give a 2 sport athlete a scholarship in the age of NIL.
