  1. 😂 my nephew asked why I don't play Madden of CFB, I told them PS5s are too expensive to be flying off the balcony. Those games are so frustrating and the way my temper works I'll end up punching the tv or making the console fly.
  2. Thanks, I know it's supposedly a zero sum game and that iron sharpens iron. That's not my belief, if it were tOSU would have the top corners and safeties in the draft every year with what they put out in receivers. I'm just asking questions that I may have to give me a better understanding of what to expect this season.
  3. Are defensive backs getting their hands on the ball? We all expect more INTs from Arch simply because he's willing to trust what he sees and his arm, is he pushing the limits?
  4. If we learned anything from Tyreese Haliburton...
  5. He's a difference maker in the sense that Florida doesn't have much real talent on the roster and anyone with a drip of talent is going to look like a fully turned on faucet. He a Milroe are very similar as I'm on record saying. They are great running around and playing backyard football, but ask them to get the ball out and on schedule and they are meh.
  6. It's takes a lot to make it out of Port Arthur. He can't lose when the whole city behind him.
  7. 😂 football practice means back to school shopping. I'm starting a petition to delay the football season so I don't have to take these little women shopping, can I count on the OTF community for their signatures?
  8. My nephew agrees with you 😂 but he's biased being that's where he plays. He's excited he gets to be in the Dre Miller role. Such a diva he just wants clicks on Instagram and highlights on Friday Night Blitz.
  9. Sorry don't have Twitter but Matt likes what he sees out of 88 https://youtu.be/7TuqoqCMId4?feature=shared

  11. He and Jalen Milroe are the same qb. Ask either of them to get the ball out on time and accurately and it's going to hit the ground. Ask them to launch it halfway around the world and they'll hit the mark more often than not. If there's one qb with more hype than Arch with more to prove it's DJ. But of course when we get ready to face him the narrative is going to be he's the best scrambler, best qb, most elusive qb we've faced in a decade.😂
  12. This isn't a surprise, there's a group of us who have said that Quinn had maxed out what he could give Texas and that his best ball is going to come on Sundays. I just need him to prove me right. Sanders and Quinn is going to put a lot of GMs in the unemployment line because when they watched tape they were looking for flaws instead of tools.
  13. Everyone is in the movie from Reggie Bush to Kelsey Plum.
  14. If you haven't seen it yet, it's hilarious. Not trying to date myself, but Happy Gilmore introduced me to golf. I'd never watch golf, but you better believe I was trying to eagle or ace a par 4 on Tiger Woods PGA.
  15. I'll never forget this game or day. It was a looooooong 14 hour road clearing mission from Baqubah to LSA Anaconda. As soon as we reached the gates and cleared our weapons, I headed straight to the MWR tent, didn't talk to anyone, and the group of five of us watched on replay. My adrenaline was already running high from the mission, so you can't even imagine how I was feeling when I finally learned the outcome. Nothing mattered, not the artillery going out, and if we would have taken incoming on that fourth down, I was ready to risk it all. No way in hell was I going to a bunker.
  16. He's noticeably heavier, if he's able to keep that twitch and explosiveness while being able to set the edge we have a monster on our hands.
  17. Sark has to be licking his chops getting ready for Ohio State, that secondary is in trouble. Yeah yeah yeah Caleb Downs, the further away from the line of scrimmage he is the less likely he's going to make the play. He has speed and a good tackler but he has poor eye discipline. Take advantage of he aggressive play and lack of eye discipline.
  18. It won't just be the redzone offense. The offense under Arch might not be as efficient as it was with Quinn, but it will be more explosive. I know we all were tired of bubble screen, and running back swing passes. The difference between Quinn and Arch is, once you touch Quinn he got happy feet, Arch will stand in there and deliver the throw on time on target.
  19. Not just that. Arch's first touchdown throw came on an off script play to Bolden. His next rd zone score came on a 19 yard pass to Moore. With Arch the playbook is wide open. Anyone who has watched Texas these last couple of years knew what was coming inside the 20 and even more so inside the 10. We got used to seeing inside run, inside run, slant, and rbs in the flat or screens. In the limited time with Arch we saw qb sneaks, slot fades, and everything in between.
  20. He's right the RZ offense will be very good. We won't be running tosses and sweeps at the 2 yard line. We won't be banging our head against a brick wall trying to block 7/8 with 6 while praying undersized backs can push the pile. Don't take my word for it watch the tape. I dare you to find me any 2 3/4 games where Texas had as much success as Texas did with Arch. I'll wait. That's not me bashing Quinn, but the truth is he was limited. Go watch how different the play calls were.
  21. What a finish at Barclays.
  22. I played against Corey and Chris... well I didn't play my knee was tore up, they beat the brakes off us. I always said if I wasn't injured we would have had a chance. That's my story so let me tell it. We did boot them out the playoffs the year before.
  23. Anyone notice how sloppy 05 championship game was? You had Reggie trying to toss the ball back that resulted in a turnover, you had Vince tossing the ball ball and Texas scoring that shouldn't have counted, Ross fumbling the first punt, and the missed fgs and extra point. If Texas plays just a little cleaner it's a blowout for the good guys.
