    Texas still ranks above most of the teams in this analysis. However, I don't think there is a groundswell of support for a 14th team from the SEC. I'm not impressed with the UCSD resume. Best win is at Utah State. A couple of bad losses -- one in the league and one out. They would have lost two of three to Irvine.

    Almost 90 brackets have been updated as of this time (about 6:30 CT) and Texas is on 44 percent of them. They need every possible favorite to win tonight.

    Duke playing like a freshman team right now. The 24-point lead is down to six, UNC is going to the line, and there's still about four minutes left.

    Only as it affects the votes of the committee members. If UNC is going to get left out, it will be 1-12 against Q1 that does it. Their best chance was to beat Duke, with or without Cooper Flagg.

    As a fan of a bubble team, I am rooting big-time for UNM tonight. If Texas wins today, I'm putting them in in ink. If not, burn the village in order to save it.

    St. Joe's turned out to be a decent team. I think both Tech and Texas were planning on walkovers that night and playing each other.

    I saw a clip from what appears to be a long feature on DH. They tried to convince me that he's capable of acting like a human being. I was not swayed.

    Watch the Big East games just for the PA guy. Notable for his calls on shots BTA: Goal! Point Three Marquette has cut the lead to two at the under 12.

    Indiana could be enough if Texas wins.

    Minnesota is one of the worst jobs in the Big Ten. But it does seem like it is time for Buzz to move.

    Disappointing to see the randomness of shooting elevate Georgia against Texas and kill them last night.

    He's a 1/2-step to step late on defense and reaches. Not as bad as Tre, but Tre hasn't been in college five years, either. Shedrick also has been good for a foul in the first minute or two of a half, no matter what. I like the guy, I really do. He's just the weakest link on a team that can't really afford to have one.

    That was the first time I saw Shedrick play and thought, hey, he looks pretty good out there. Since then I have seen the opposing view.
