    You’re still missing the point. When all the things that give Texas advantages right now are even then the schools I mentioned result to other methods to get an advantage that Texas does not.

    You are missing the point on why level playing field isn’t advantageous to Texas in the current landscape. If you can’t see why Texas has a clear advantage here then you’re just dumb. This isn’t just about Tech, this advantage also extends over Oklahoma, Alabama, LSU, etc.

    He’s getting ahead of this because big 12s next media contract isn’t going to be pretty. The separation will continue because sec and bigs next deals will be larger while big 12 and ACC shrinks. That’s why he’s going this full stop.

    IMO he’s already really good in the pocket and navigating it, so much so that he’s making the OL appear better than they are. His problems are he’s not understanding the concepts and routes as well as he should with a defense that is being called to stop him. So he’s throwing late due to that and when he throws late he doesn’t use proper mechanics and getting his feet in the right direction needed. He needs to understand the offense better within the scope of the game with his reads and knowing where receivers need to be vs what he’s seeing on defense

    The entire history of cfb has been about few teams that can truly compete no matter the format pre and post nil era. You fools claiming this needs to be fixed is laughable. Especially considering the huge advantage Texas currently has in this landscape. But I suppose we can make everything level and even so that bag game can come back and we are not at a competitive advantage.

    Sorry to tell you this but if you think Cody Campbell is doing this for greater good and not for his personal or techs benefit then I’ll sell you some ocean front property in Arizona. Media rights shouldn’t be equal and pay shouldn’t be equal at all. No matter if it brings in more money or not. Tech doesn’t deserve the same media value as Texas full stop. That’s also not very capitalistic I’d say

    Cody Campbell isn’t trying to create more money for everyone. He’s trying to ensure tech has a seat at the table and that they continue to free load off programs superior to them. He’s trying to ensure he doesn’t have to continue footing as much of Techs bill as possible. He’s doing it in true American fashion by purchasing legislation.

    Exactly, with this he’d not have to put so much of his own money. He wants tech to be piggy backed like they’ve always been but not any longer since the Big 12 is no longer a nationally relevant conference. He’s trying to make it where the future they will be automatically included in it.

    Why would you page me? The defense is the best part of our program and has proven to be elite in big games. The offense on the other hand does not. PFF Grades so far: Stroh: 47.6 grade vs SJSU, 44.9 vs OSU Neto: 61.7 vs SJSU, 65.6 vs OSU baker: 59.1 vs SJSU, 41.0 vs OSU Campbell: 64.3 SJSU, 60.7 vs OSU Cole Hutson: 47.4 SJSU, 63.2 OSU Goosby 82.7 SJSU, 73.9 OSU Basically anything below 60 is bad and anything above 80 is good and close to 90 is elite

    Mack was Deloss and Powers problem. It should have been taken care of before the hiring of the next coach and AD. But as stated earlier the leadership on campus at the time was terrible.

    Your timeline is off. If Deloss wasn’t such a coward he would have been but Oliver luck, who would have been our AD(not Patterson), wanted the Mack thing settled before taking job. Steve said he’d pull the trigger. Just bad leadership around that time with AD and president.

    Money was going to flow to any school during that time period, you think Texas was the only one making money? Mack is a cancer and a weak loser mentality. That’s why Bowden and Stoops owned his butt.

    Larry Coker has a title, Coach O has a title, Jimbo has a title, chisel has a title. perhaps Mack shouldn’t have been so soft and coddling to his players and he’d have more success?
