There’s an offensive guy out in New Mexico that could take our offense and score 50 a game the rest of the way. How bad do you want to win? 🤣🤣

Yeah that’s the problem, I’d like a guaranteed hire and there just isn’t one we can get. So do you take a gamble and take Traylor or Will Stein? Or a Lashlee? I just don’t know. At least we’re not as bad as when Charlie Strong was here 🤣. I am not going to lie, when Charlie was here I watched the games but knew we were going to lose or look like crap. I gave up. I didn’t even get upset anymore.

Who you going to hire? Not trying to be a smart a just wondering who people think would be better. It seems like it is harder to win at Texas than anyone else. I don’t really know why. I always said if we couldn’t get Saban we need to get one of his guys. We got one. I don’t know at all if he can take us to the promise land. In the NIL era, we’re the New York Yankees, the Los Angeles Dodgers. We’re better off than we were before he got here, but I want to get like Georgia is, like the Saban Alabama’s were. We seem a long way from that to me.

I said the other day in a post that it’s a large enough sample size now that Arch is what he is. He’s not miraculously getting a lot better with a good week of practice. Arch is a good QB, good athlete, but he not elite……not a Heisman Trophy contender type guy like everyone was hyping him to be. I accepted it awhile back. We’ll win alot of games with him but we aren’t going to beat the likes of Georgia. It’s just not happening. Alot of it is on Sark. Sark’s not an elite offensive mind. I accepted that awhile back too. I’ve said this numerous times that I don’t see how a person can call offensive plays and be the head coach at The University of Texas. Some other places you can be at Texas there is too much of a demand on his time. He has a young wife, young baby and I’m sure she is bitching at him alot too. It’s unbelievable the amount of film you have to watch to be ready to call plays in the SEC and he doesn’t have that kind of time. He relys on Milwee and that other QB coach to break it down and he tries to call it from that. It won’t work at Texas. It worked at Alabama because that’s all he was responsible for and Saban had way better players than everyone else.

Do you all think Sark can get this offense playing at a high enough level to make a run this year? Fix special teams this year? Are what we’ve seen is it? What percentage do you give that he can do it?

Year 6 for Sark. We’ve spent a ton of money on the roster. I just don’t see any miraculously changing anytime soon. CDC has given him everything he needs. This may be just who we are. A good team that can’t get over the hump. A 2-4 loss team per year. I am not saying he needs to go because he’s picked us up from a 12 year misery of football but I just think after 6 years we are who we are

Seems like Schloss is still recruiting at a high level. Maybe that Jack Marder he picked up from Oregon isn’t so bad. 😃 We know the other coaches are top level. Maybe the sky isn’t falling after all 😃

Bishop is going to get more involved. The dude is very very talented. I saw him last year in a playoff game and I was sold. He’s 160 something pounds but plays way bigger

It doesn’t seem like personnel because I know we have better players than some teams that block better than we do. It seems alot of times they bring pressure and some of our guys take the wrong area/man and someone comes up the gut free and sometimes our guy just gets pushed like they were on skates back into the QB. I assume we’re playing the best 5 or they wouldn’t be playing. We have had good individual guys Banks/Goosby but we never have a complete highly functioning unit

I wonder what it would take for us to get a top offensive line? Wr hit the portal for it and a couple of them start. What would it take? I’d really like to know. Everyone will say fire Kyle Flood. But we been talking about offensive line for years and it just never seems to change
