  1. I get what your saying but they are 200 students below the 6A cutoff. I wonder what lead them to accept going down and not asking for a waive to stay in 6A?
  2. For strictly 80s, I would include Family Ties in my Top 20s. So many of these shows bleed over from the 70's into the 80s and from the 80s to the 90s. I know Happy Days was partly in the 80s but I always think of it as a 70s show since the best of it was in the 70s, same for MASH and WKRP. For me off the top of my head, my favorite 80s shows, in no particular order, would be: Magnum PI MIami Vice Star Trek: The Next Generation (half in the 80s half in the 90s) WKRP (Straddled the 70s and 80s exaactlly) Cosby Show Cheers Family Ties (I had a huge crush on Justine Bateman) Charles in Charge (Nicole Eggbert another huge crush) Airwolf Night Court (might be one of the funniest sitcoms ever, and had the beautiful Markie Post) The A-Team Newhart The Fall Guy (Heather Thomas anyone. 🙂) Simon and Simon Square Pegs (very brief show, pretty influential) Spenser for Hire Growing Pains 21 Jump Street Hill Street Blues Silver Spoons

  4. Always appreciate good hips!
  5. Wasn't Gossby anounching today? I like the way you think.
  6. Agreed, however that doesn't mean there might be something to it.
  7. No. I want a fundamental recognition of weaknesses and changes to address them. I'm not advocating that he fire anyone. But he can't sit back and continue to the status quo. He's hit a ceiling. He needs to be not ruthless like Saban, Kirby, and evidently not like Day and be willing to change.
  8. Herman was coming off a big season with a bowl win over Georgia and then just totally under performs the next year and then goess off the trails. I think Sark is potentially at a crossroads moment. He needs to make staff changes, either give some authority to Brandon Harris or hire somebody he can, and hire a OC so he can focus on being head coach. We've all seen these moments on the past with head coaches. Mack did after 2003. I guess we'll know in the two months whether Sark can do it.
  9. Agreed. The only one I feel like being a jerk to is Sark right now.
  10. Absolutely. Is broadcasting the game good senior year when Duaine Akina x was there along with Gerry. I remember texting Gerry from the booth to say hello to Akina for me. 🤣 Adrian was a hell of a highschool football player and track athlete as well.
  11. I worked for a station out of Mineral Wells (it's now 95.9 The Ranch) and did Mineral Wells High School games. Later on I worked at QX FM out of Weatherford and did Weatherford games before switching back to Mineral Wells. A few years in the middle of it all we did a game of the week format and looked for matchups in the region that didn't have coverage.
  12. As a father myself, I'm just so happy for him and your family. We appreciate your work her Blake and we hope for fantastic future for Colt and the rest of your family. On s side note, I use to do radio for high school football games for 30 years. I did more than a few games at Comanche.
  13. Not sure I really care to be honest at this point.
  14. I'd put money on that.
  15. Happy Father's Day Gerry and the rest of you fathers on this board. Now, let's see some commits!
  16. That's an understatement. 😄
