  1. @CJ Vogel Do you think Jelani would benefit from adding muscle in ‘26? Part of me expects a Muschamp secondary to be more physical, lay more lumber. Does Jelani seem like he could carry more armor and be equally/more effective?
  2. Agreed on the above, I hate the way he did this but Wisner just did us a huge favor. There is an ocean of opportunity in this backfield.
  3. You’re right, I was blinded by the stats before I read up on his backstory. I think near 1/2 we’ll see some bigger names enter, and those are the likely takes. Though I do like CJ’s crush from NC State. 👀
  4. Also potentially of interest?
  5. Gerry had high praise for this kid pre-injury, wonder if we’d still consider him.
  6. That’s a big boy, very intriguing as a secondary portal RB take. I do agree our primary take needs to be proven and really boost the room.
  7. If we go to 105 I think it’s valuable to take several depth pieces like him. I hear you, but his film stuck out to me and I hated to whiff on him last cycle.
  8. Some of my favorite film last year. I think he’s worth a flyer!
  9. Blue was a receiving threat, but not a north/south runner. I should have been more specific, but even the guys you listed don’t share his style. RoJo was a bull, Bijan had surgical cuts, Brooks was a glider. Cooper seems close to Black’s burst, but I do stand on/by the statement. Not saying we haven’t had good backs, if that’s what your interpretation was.
  10. Texas doesn’t have a single back with the burst of Kaelon Black. And we haven’t in years and years.
  11. @CJ Vogel Any smoke on potential reclass names from ‘27 to ‘26 class?
  12. What if half of those lands are 4 stars in a month? Wouldn’t be the first time.
  13. I would also add that this team would look a hell of a lot better with CJ Donaldson on board. How we didn’t even kick the tires on him I’ll never know.
  14. Agreed with Coach Irwin’s (Lunch With the Coach) take that our RBs aren’t physically imposing and don’t lend themselves to the necessary physical style of play needed. We need to land a hs Bowens type AND a physical RB1 level guy from the portal. This is shaping up to be Sark’s first season without a 1000 yard back, it can’t continue.
  15. Damn, that is some bad competition. But he’s running roughshod over them as he should. Looks like a player..
  16. Seems extremely coachable and sharp at his age. Bodes well for him assimilating on this roster.
  17. The comments in the thread of his 31-28 comeback victory were kinda prescient. “Kid’s gonna get demolished back there behind this offensive line.” Hope he can come in fully healed, tough outcome for Dia.
  18. I want to say James Simon had two runs in the 13-14 range last game. Yes that is an awful stat, I want to say brighter days are ahead at least with Wisner and Simon in rotation. Was really, REALLY impressed with that game 1 out of Simon.
  19. I have never ever seen someone grimace DURING a throw that hasn’t even left their hand, because it was a bad throw. That is some weird squinty logic. Meanwhile, his jank sidearm delivery that we didn’t expect would make perfect sense if he’s compensating for a rotator cuff or AC issue. By the way this is the last thing I or anyone want. But his body language, grimacing etc stood out on the telecast.
  20. Anyone want to acknowledge whatever Arch did to his shoulder? Watch the throw with around 4:00 left in the 2nd quarter. He grimaces like this after half a dozen (low) throws through the game. Y’all want to ruin this kid or are we going to sit him a few low profile games? He has not looked right this year, since early in the Ohio State game.
  21. I know you’re talking specifically Sark-recruited WRs, but Sark did have a hand in shaping AD Mitchell who is rapidly ascending in NFL circles.
  22. What a banger of a comeback 💥🤌
  23. He’s, uh, he’s going to do this.
  24. All tied up. Thank God my wife had 70 Instagram reels to curate for me or I’d have been bored in that first half.
