    Pretty significant Friday news drop. The SEC will begin punishing head coaches if it is determined a player or team is ‘feigning’ injuries to create timeouts. Of course, this has been quite the conversation surrounding Ole Miss this season and throughout much of the conference as well. Perhaps not as much in Texas circles, but it will certainly have lasting impacts around the conference. On first infraction, a head coach will be fined $50,000. A second infraction will be a fine of $100,000. And a third could result in a suspension.

    Texas 2025 WR commit Jaime Ffrench will be honored by the Navy All-American Bowl game this afternoon at Mandarin High. As part of the Road to the Dome tour, the Navy (formerly Army) All-American Bowl game will represent Ffrench with his game jersey in front of students and faculty at Mandarin this afternoon. Really cool honor for the five-star wide receiver. The annual East vs. West matchup will take place inside the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas at 1 p.m. ET on Saturday, January 11, 2025, live on NBC and Peacock.

    I would say important, but not someone to break the bank on. Niblack has plenty of holding calls on the year already in limited snaps. He already was not a good blocker as well. Yes, he is talented and brings a very unique skillset to the pass game, but Texas can get that out of Washington next year.

    I don't think I have any gripes with consistent playcalling. I would have loved to see a deep shot or two called from midfield on 2nd & 1 or 3rd & 1 at midfield against Vandy to start the 4Q.

    He has definitely helped his case with the play this year by the secondary. Biggest part for me is no true busts in coverage this year, it's been great.
