  1. It wouldn’t have taken much to win in Columbus.
  2. There’s a huge difference between benching him permanently and sitting him for a few series to settle him down. Just like Sark did with Quinn. It’s a ridiculous double standard for Manning and it’s causing our team to struggle in games that should be much less competitive.
  3. There’s also not a skill player within a million miles of Bijan, Rojo, Brooks or Whittington on this offense. What is Sark trying to build? What is his actual plan on offense? He always says what we don’t major in. What does he want to major in? I have zero clue. Someone please ask him that question.
  4. Arch is either not good or the most woefully underprepared third year quarterback I’ve ever seen. Caldwell has this team 6-1 and that’s a two TD win tonight. No doubt in my mind. This is the most undisciplined offense I’ve ever seen especially at OL. Your D has an epic goal line stand and you start with a hold and get minus two yards total in OT? As I predicted coming out of the Spring, PK has this team Championship level ready while Sark’s side of the ball is a flaming pile of crap. Remember 6-3 at halftime of the SECCG? Sark’s side of the ball has actually gotten worse.
  5. We just got our ass kicked by a true freshman receiver.
  6. Brooks is absolutely right but he’s also a Georgia fan and using every opportunity to stick Texas’ nose in this mess.
  7. Choice recruited all those guys.
  8. Imagine the situation at guard being so bad that Flood has to plug a true freshman OT in a left guard to try and plug the hole. What guards did he think he was grooming to take over these past three years?
  9. I mean it makes more sense than Sark and Flood looked at this roster and thought “yeah we’re good.”
  10. It’s been so long since this program has had a Dan Neil / Casey Studdard type at interior OL we don’t even know what a mean nasty player at those positions looks like anymore. Flood’s big humans approach or whatever he and sark call it has been abysmal.
  11. RB room needs an influx of change agents. Starting with Cooper. Wisner has done a hero’s job of filling in as an RB1 but it’s time to get RBU back to our standard.
  12. 27-17 Horns.
  13. Kentucky and Arkie are the two easiest left. Everyone else can beat us on a bad day. And we can beat everyone else on a good day. This five week bonus mini camp should start paying dividends over the next two weekends.
  14. is everything I hope Derek Cooper is for us next season. Great burst, great cutting ability, powerful when he makes contact. Might not have Cooper’s wheels either.
  15. Six starts and 5-1 no?
  16. Usually I’d be all for the best version of Florida possible to make it a good game, but given the circumstances this season I’ll take a Miami blowout and a full Gator coaching implosion this weekend please.
  17. We’re going to start playing the vaunted “14 personnel” offense.
  18. Ahh, no. Just curious about the contingency planning for this season. My hope and dream is still fully aligned with the sunshine and roses option that he pulls off a Colt like sophomore year and goes on to do great things next year.
  19. In a vacuum, no, I don’t think Sark has the balls to do it, but there is a point between now and a 3 and 9 record this season that he’d have to.
  20. Everyone has a plan until they start out 0-2 in SEC play and 3-3 on the season.
  21. For a certain amount of time, yes. But there’s too much invested in the success of this program from an NIL standpoint, fan investment and the considerations of every other player on the team for this entire season to turn into 12 games of teaching Arch how to play again. At some point you rip the bandaid which brings in the contingency planning.
  22. I just don't see what Caldwell gets us that we can't get from Lacey. Unless we really think Caldwell is capable of an SECCG / CFP run, if Arch is out you're basically building for 2026.
  23. At this point the coaches have to be parallel pathing a plan in case this is just not an in-season fix with Arch. IMO you keep working with him through this weekend but at some point the team and the season goals are the priority. So what’s the contingency if he lays another egg this weekend or in Gainesville? Mine would be to work KJ into the gameplan starting this weekend. Give him a few series in the 2nd and the 4th. See how he does under the lights. Then spend the entire two weeks prior to Florida giving them something extra to game plan for, and maybe continue to use Lacey as a change of pace to come in for Arch. If the wheels do eventually fall off for Arch this season, at least we’re getting some critical experience for KJ. Thoughts? @CJ Vogel @Bobby Burton @Jeff Howe @Gerry Hamilton
