    Should cut the thing to eight. Clemson is the ACC champion and they had to play on an opponents home field and thus got no bowl game for their team and fans. They can watch Miami play in one next Saturday I guess .

    Fan since I was kid watching the 1963 Texas Navy Cotton Bowl. Then our high school , and local legend, QB went to Texas and threw a pass in Fayetteville that went down in history in 1969. I went to Texas , grad in 1974.

    Arkansas will use a ton of clock but stall in the red zone a ton. Two weeks preparing Ark will have something special for Texas defensively that will confuse us for a half. In the end a low scoring affair we are thrilled to escape with. 21-16

    I went around 4 times back many decades ago. Back then, the locals hated Texas fans. One place wouldn’t sell us gas, another mom and pop place, the pop cusses out the mom about letting us use the restroom. We had a car pull in front of us trying to get out of the parking lot, got out of their car laughing leaving us blocked in. Let’s see, guy wanted to fight me after the Tony Jones catch. Eating at a local restaurant post game had an old guy come over wanting to know the score as he said he hadn’t heard. Just immature hassles, many I have forgot. If you can have a car without Texas plates it helps

    I guess it’s a percentage deal, knowing MLB will take a certain % . Sign a lot of top players and just hope to field a few difference makers. I like it.
